Good location for Valencay Chateau and car Museum, with helpful host.

Very friendly hostess and close to major tourist site. Weather was very hot so eat bought in meal in the garden. Had access to freezer for our frezer packs.

Almost no restaurants open on a Saturday in Mid-June and nothing open on Sunday.

Delightful, quiet stay in small town France

Beautiful home and spectacular garden. Incredibly quiet neighborhood. Breakfast is top notch. The owner is very nice. I speak very little french and she speaks little to none but we managed and had a good laugh too. The gardens are so nice we bought picnic supplies and ate in the backyard one night. Proprietress loved it and assisted with plates, etc.

The house is on the edge of town. It's not quite walking distance in to the center.

Quiet and comfortable B&B about 15 minutes on foot from the centre of Valencay

Madame Roi-Rety takes a lot of trouble to make guests welcome in her quiet and relaxing home, serving a delicious breakfast and providing information about restaurants and things to see in this historic town. Apart from the chateau, Valencay is known for the monument to Special Operations Executive agents who lost their lives aiding the French Resistance.

Une magnifique chambre dans la maison de la propriétaire. Un superbe petit-déjeuner avec des produits locaux et certains faits maison. Accès à un grand jardin calme et ombragé. La propriétaire nous a aidé à organiser notre séjour en nous donnant toutes les informations nécessaires, qu ece soit sur les restaurants, les caves à vin, les lieux à visiter,...
