Incredible food, delightful owner, but…

Alberto, the owner, is a delightful person. At first he may appear a little cold, but he goes the extra mile for his guests. The location is very good, but personally my least favourite part of the Langhe. The nearest town of note is Alba, which is some way away. The food was absolutely outstanding, and all made with fresh, local ingredients. There is a swimming pool, which is essential during the summer to combat the stifling heat. There is a river nearby in which it is possible to fish provided you purchase the relevant licence online.

I feel really bad about writing some negatives, as the owner is so nice. Everything is very, very dated: the pool and surrounding areas, the décor, the furniture, the bathrooms, the equipment - you name it. The pool tiles are really dangerous, especially for children. The shower was so tiny I had great difficulties fitting my breasts in. It also did not shut properly due to being so old, meaning that water got out. The shower handle was broken. I slept really badly due to the heat first, and then the temperature dropping quite considerably in the middle of the night. Had there been air conditioning, a constant temperature could have been maintained throughout the night. All the windows and doors need mosquito nets, yet there are none, so you either stay in darkness with the window wide open so mosquitos don’t enter the room, or you keep the window closed but melt due to the heat. For me personally, however, the biggest disappointment was the fact that it felt a little like living with my parents. The owner’s wife expressed some dissatisfaction that all the guests were still awake and chatting (in the outside dining area) at 11:00 PM. The owner switched all the outside lights off without as much as a word around 10:30 PM, whilst all the guests were mid-conversation after eating their dinner. My husband and I wanted to spend some time watching the Perseid meteor shower one night by the pool, but we were told we couldn’t because we’d wake the dogs and they’d then bark incessantly (which they did anyway). Such a shame, because the potential of this place is immense, but in my 30s I want to be able to enjoy a conversation at the dinner table with fellow guests without being told off!

Food is really home made agriturismo style. Great food as Italian family are eating. Rare to find these days, moreover you get overpriced cuisine with chi chi, here you are part of the family, if you want to be . Talk to Roberto, English German French, not fluent but you’ll make your way. Roberto’s service, friendliness and generosity Is a huge part of the charm.

friendly host but little comfort..

the hosts are very nice and kind. the pool is nice and with good loungers. there are some games and play area for the kids. it is in the middle of the mountains. Dinner is good!

there is no air conditioning, and it gets very warm during summer, if you open the window the mosquitos eat you alive! the shower is extremely small! the room could be cleaner. mattress and sheets smells as cigarettes. toilet also have an unpleasant smell. breakfast is very minimum. it can get very noisy at nights with the dogs barking.

The place is perfect for whoever wants to experience some nights in a traditional Italian environment. The surroundings were amazing, the place was also very nice. The best thing about this place is the people who host you, as they are kind, amazing and easy going. The best thing is definitely the dinner. Please, have the multiple course dinner there, you will not regret it.

To be honest, I feel everything was fair considering that the good things overwhelm the bad ones. If I had to make some recommendations to the owners, these would be: The beds are old, it is probably time to change them. It would be nice to have some orientation on the surroundings and the hotel venue itself, as it is not clear if the pool from the pictures is available or not, and because the region is full of small roads with thousands of things to explore. But again, I am more than happy for the cost-benefit ratio.

gestore disponibile, ambiente tranquillo, cucina casalinga. apprezzato il giropizza della seconda cena, buoni i salumi, e un ottimo caprino. non è un 5 stelle ma la tranquillità ed il fare disponibile e non invasivo del gestore forse è anche meglio. piscina non enorme ma fruibile per un buon relax

curerei forse un pò di più gli ambienti esterni, ma, si è in piena campagna piemontese, in mezzo ai noccioli e.... si apprezza quel sentore di campagna non posticcio ma reale qual è, galline, galli, faraone, ed un tacchino che... faceva allegria e metteva appetito...

Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo, un po fuori mano ma nel complesso positivo. Disponibilità dei titolari , educazione e prestazione ottimale nel soddisfare le richieste. Cibo ottimo a cena a km 0 e vino top.

Magari una TV in camera non sarebbe male. Alle 5 del mattino inizia a cantare il gallo e a seguire abbaiano i cani ininterrottamente. Tollerante comunque

Camere molto sporche. Ospitalità pessima. La colazione non ci é stata data, dicendo che l'orario era terminato nonostante ci fossero avanzi disponibili. Per niente consigliato.

E' la seconda volta che veniamo in questo agriturismo e anche in questa occasione ci siamo trovati bene. Alberto e Federico, insieme alle loro famiglie, sono sempre molto accoglienti e piacevoli. La moglie di Alberto che si occupa della cucina come sempre ha soddisfatto le nostre esigenze e appagato i nostri palati, davvero un'ottima cuoca. Contiamo di tornarci anche l'anno prossimo. Alberto un ottimo padrone di casa molto affabile e non ti viene mai voglia di smettere di ascoltare le sue storie e come da operaio è diventato "contadino" una tradizione trasmessa anche ai suoi figli,per non parlare dell'ottimo cibo casareccio,e si respira proprio aria di relax

Siamo stati meraviglioso, non vedo l'ora di tornare, Alberto, sua moglie e figli sono davvero persone che sanno gestire a loro azienda,la moglie prepara tutto lei,tutto fresco, bio e saporito. Vino 🍷 buonissimo, naturale e tanta roba da mangiare tutto buonissimo. Raccomando questo posto tranquillo, pulito e torniamo di sicuro. Tanti baci da Daniela, Catalin, Marino e Maricela ❤️
