Wycliff Beach Condo

Very clean, comfortable beds and nicely stocked kitchen.

I felt pics were deceptive because it looked like we had a deck but it was a common area on the property and it wasn’t close. Also, didn’t realize it was an upstairs unit. No bathtub and miscommunication about PIN number to get key because apparently the property manager had recently changed. In fairness, the new manager sent a message on our travel day with correct info but I had already written everything down from my original booking and didn’t check emails or messages due to traveling. Was unable to reach new managers by phone, old company tried to help with contact info. Old key boxes still in place so it was confusing until I saw the message from earlier in the day. Overall, those were small things that did not detract from our fun getaway. Also, in description of property it said we were 865ish feet away from beach but when we got there, sign said no beach access. Disappointing because we wanted to walk to beach.

The kitchen was BEAUTIFUL and it was fully equipped to prepare a full meal (had I been staying more than 1 night, I would’ve put the kitchen to use!) The fireplace was an amazing touch, not only to keep the apartment cozy, but also really soothing while listening to the waves from the beach. The main bed was super comfortable as well. I also liked that in the other room with the twin bed, there was a TV. I also really liked the barn doors in the rooms.

I feel like the shower could be bigger so there’s more space to move around. The pillows seemed very broken in, which isn’t always a bad thing depending on preference. I’d also suggest more durable toilet paper. Overall, I was VERY impressed!

Nice location. Very clean! Nicely furnished.

Condo next door had a wind chime that was very noisy due to the wind storm. Also, they left their dog alone for several hours on Thanksgiving afternoon/evening.

The view from the living/dining/kitchen area was pretty great. Parking was reasonable. Bed in main bedroom was comfortable.

It took us over an hour to get the code to get into the property. There was no air conditioning and the only room with a fan was the main bedroom. $114 for a cleaning fee was pretty steep, especially to be greeted with a sign that says to take your shoes off inside (not for $114). Shower area was pretty small and the bath mats did not appear to be very clean.
