About this apartment rental
The Villa Kaki is on a slope with a fantastic 180 ° view of the sea, the islands of Cres, Rijeka and Krk. It is on a slope and was completely renovated in 2012 and divided into 4 apartments.
A hiking trail leads past the house to Veprinac and the mountain Ucka, where you feel totally in nature. Spring and autumn are very suitable for hiking, as there are many hiking trails here. November also has a mild climate.
The garden with fig tree, mandarins, cherries and kiwis invites you to relax. We have 6 sun beds in the garden.
A pavilion provides shade under the kiwi trees and invites you to drinks, talks and the view.
A grill is available for all guests and a large table. Here you can also get to know other guests of the house.
In just 5 minutes of stairs you are right in the middle of the action in Opatija. When you get home you need a few minutes longer, where you stop and enjoy the view.
You can also drive to the promenade in 5 minutes by car.
The parking lot is 70 meters away and free of charge.
Along the promenade are many diverse restaurants, cafes, playgrounds, casinos and stone beaches, a botanical garden, theater, wellness and much more.
There is a lot of culture in Opatija, such as operas, musicals, concerts and almost all under a blue sky with a view of the sea and palm trees.
Water sports games are also offered. For children there are sandboxes on the promenade, water games and small vehicles can be rented.
The apartments are modern and have everything you need in a vacation rental incl. TV with many German and foreign programs.
Your own balcony is right in front of the living room. The view from the apartment is fantastic.
We have a German speaking manager who will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
September is a dream in Opatija - maybe not with school-age children. The water is warm from summer, the air is still 30 degrees and it is not overcrowded. It is e.g. B. in Opatija on the promenade in September in the large old Kvarner hotel offered the "Viennese waltz" with long evening dresses. It is also wonderful to watch these people and to hear this beautiful music, sitting by the sea and drinking champagne.
The water is warm and salty and good for your health. There are also hardly any waves, which makes swimming easier.
Along the promenade are many diverse restaurants, cafes, playgrounds, casinos and stone beaches, a botanical garden, theater, wellness and much more.

Dejlig beliggenhed og god lejlighed. Dog et lidt sparsomt indrettet køkken. Meget venlig og hjælpsom betjening.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Maslina sehr genossen. Insgesamt waren wir knapp 2 Wochen dort, worauf wir nicht unbedingt vorbereitet waren, waren die insgesamt 243 Treppenstufen bis zur Promenade; Schrägen nicht mitgezählt. Das war eine sportliche Herausforderung, die sich nach 13 Tagen positiv an manchen Körperstellen bemerkbar gemacht hat. :)
Alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, auch Dank der netten Betreuung von Renata und den Kontakt, den ich im Vorlauf schon mit Frau Meinberger hatte.

Das Apartment an sich ist sehr gepflegt und super ausgestattet an Geräten, Geschirr etc.
Lediglich der Weg zum Strand und die vorab beschriebenen "5 Minuten" sind mit unseren Erfahrungen nicht kompatibel. Für junge, sportliche Personen ist der Weg über die Stufen in Ordnung, für Kinder oder ältere Personen aber nicht.
Desweitern liegt anders als in der Beschreibung erläutert nur ein Betonstrand und kein Kieselstrand vor, was sehr sehr schade ist.
Ansonsten empfanden wir den Urlaub als gelungen.
Renata war eine überaus freundliche Gastgeberin.
