Forest View at Oakdene Forest Park - Leisure Passes Included!

The location is perfect, with a lovely terrace overlooking the forest. It’s very private and quiet. We especially loved feeding the birds and squirrels from the terrace - there are feeders around and the host even left bird food for us, which was such a nice touch. The caravan had everything we needed to cook, clean and comfortably stay for a week. It felt very well thought out and homely rather than like a sterile holiday rental. At the same time, everything was very clean, and the bedding was really nice and comfortable.

Nothing really, we were very happy with our stay

We loved the privately owned caravan C4. Really well maintained, clean and very well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Right on the edge of the forest so was a great spot for birds and squirrels. Not too far to walk to the on site facilities. And very quiet. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 children. Swimming pool was lovely and the outdoor pool was heated too.

We only went swimming twice. The morning swim was better. They let you in in 15 minute gaps, but in the afternoon session we queued for an hour because people were obviously no leaving at the end of their allocated hour. Perhaps a better system for getting people out?

Loved the tranquility, you could forget you were on a holiday site and lose yourself into the forest views and visiting wildlife whilst living with home comforts. Host had provided everything listed and more and was available to help and answer questions without being intrusive. Will visit again if we go the the area in the future.

Didn't like how quickly time went and that we had to leave....
