We'll come back in summer!

The chalet is small but perfectly formed - perfect for a long romantic weekend. It is possible to walk along the quiet back lanes to the coast and the little port of St Vaast la Hougue and is close to the little port of Barfleur which has figured large in English history and the lighthouse at Gatteville. We particularly enjoyed being serenaded by the local tawny owl.

We visited in winter and suffered the wind and rain - nothing the hosts can do about that - but the chalet is very cosy, the heating keeping it very warm.

Very warm and welcoming would be ideal to stay in the summer months due to the location.

Location of the cabin,nice and quiet very friendly welcome, ideal for a couple and a pet Very clean and had everything we needed for a self catering stay. The cabin is ideal if you need some where to stay after a long day sight seeing.

Would benefit more by staying in the summer months so you can make use of the out door space and the BBQ. The cabin is a lovely place to stay but a bit limited on storage space for clothes.

Not ideal, not relaxing, false advertising

The cabin had perfect facilities including everything you'd need. The grounds were nice and picturesque.

The host failed to inform us that during the week of our stay, she was having heavy building work done on the roof of her home just across the way. She broke the "quiet times" stated on booking.com as we were woken by builders hammering and sawing at 8am. The second day we were met with thick dust and smoke blowing over to the cabin from the house. We couldn't relax and there was no tranquility or feel of nature or quiet. We couldn't have breakfast or lunch outside because of the noise and dust. The builders even played their radio loudly and the host did not tell them to turn it off. In regards to the inside, most facilities were great apart from all shelving was thick with dust.

Chalet cosy au calme. Très bon séjour pour se ressourcer.

Le chalet est très cosy , petit mais très fonctionnel. On peut également se reposer devant le chalet au calme sous de magnifiques arbres. La literie est confortable.

Ruhige, schnuckelige Unterkunft im Grünen

Alles war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Küche mit kompletter Ausstattung, die wir auch genutzt haben. Super ruhige Lage und viel Privatsphäre. Ländliche schöne und ruhige Gegend, kurze Distanz zum Meer bzw. nahegelegenen Ort (5 Min mit dem Auto).

Nichts zu bemängeln.

Ce petit chalet en pleine campagne était bien agréable tres bonne Literie un petit cocon au calme à recommander malgré l'absence du soleil

Heureusement que l'on restait juste la nuit pour dormir....

Autour du chalet magnifique vue, mais c'est tous.

Personnel peu aimable à la remise des clés Très petit à l'intérieur Pas isolé donc Énormément d'humidité, les oreillers étais tous humide le soir. Une personne de surpoid ne pourrait pas circuler dans le chalet. Beaucoup de fourmis, obligé d'acheter une bombe anti fourmis. Du coup Très jolie d'extérieur, mais intérieur très très petit et chère pour ce que ça vaut ! Le déjeuner on le prenais à l'extérieur car pas de place à l'intérieur.
