We had a 2 week holliday in this holliday home. We walked everyday to Saint Vaast la Hougue to get our breakfast at the boulanger. It was super. I had not noticed in the add that I was supposed to bring my own linen. But the host Remy was so kind to lend us some. We had a lovely stay and the weeks sped by.

The property was ideally located to tour Normandy, especially the WW2 sites. The house is older but comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The garden was lovely. Remy was kind and helpful. It was a satisfying experience.

Quaint little cottage

Our stay was enjoyable. Little confusion over key collection, but soon sorted. The cottage was well equipped for our needs. Large rooms, and lovely garden. The only issue we had was the supply of hot water. The water heater was only set to come on once a day, and there was JUST enough hot water for a shower each in the morning. Families staying would struggle. A lovely little village, and we enjoyed the walk into St Vaast via the lanes and seafront.

A mix of pluses and minuses, i.e. Spotlessly clean, Remy was most helpful and agreeable. location ideal with nice garden, bicycles etc., plenty of room and comfortable. Lots of maps and local information, plenty of hot water, nice shower unit. Children would love it! Minuses, however are:-,bedrooms are upstairs but toilet and bathroom are downstairs. Stairs not easy for those unsteady on their feet, Only French programs on TV. (but what should one expect when in another country)? Given that, though, a DVD player would be useful. Remy, does not speak English, which might be a problem for those without a knowledge of the French language. Would I go again? YES!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à St Vaast la Hougue. M. Rémy Lepellet s'est montré très disponible à chaque fois que nous avons eu un petit problème. Le jardin du gîte est également super agréable et nous en avons profité tous les jours. Le village de St Vaast la Hougue est très agréable et on peut aller chercher son pain tous les matins en 20 minutes à pieds. La presqu'île du Cotentin est une région magnifique et restée très sauvage. Bref nous y avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

Merveilleux séjour dans un des villages préférés des Français ...et des Belges ;-)

Le gîte est vaste pour un couple même avec deux ou trois enfants. Le jardin est magnifiiiiiîque, complètement clôturé ce qui est génial quand on a un Golden Retriever! Le coin est calme, reposant à 400m de la mer et à un jet de pierre du parcours Vauban qui vous conduit au centre de St Vaast. La voiture peut rester en sécurité juste devant le gîte. Le propriétaire loge à côté mais de manière complètement indépendante. Il vous donne de bons conseils. Le seul point faible a été un malentendu quant au jour de l'arrivée qui nous a fait attendre quelque peu mais cela a été de suite résolu. Errare Humanum Est... et on est en vacances pardi! Un grand merci pour son aide pour nous permettre d'avoir directement une carte TV qui était venue à expiration (système mystérieux pour un Belge) et surtout pour ses tuyaux pour se procurer du crabe (araignée de mer) et du homard à un prix plancher! Bref à refaire! Le dépaysement, le bon air et la bonne chère à 6 ou 7h de route de la Belgique! Que demander de plus! Encore merci pour l'accueil et ce superbe moment!

Gite convenable pour une semaine, surtout en Avril, où la météo est encore très fraiche. L'ensemble du gîte est très rustique, mais tout y est. Un soin devrait être apporté au mobilier extérieur, qui manque d'entretien, nous n'avons pas pu en profiter. Gîte bien situé, au calme d'un hameau et proche de St Vaast pour les balades.

Rémy est un hôte fort sympathique, discret mais disponible si nécessaire. Nous avons passé un chouette séjour dans cette maison conforme au descriptif, confortable, propre, au calme et à seulement 7mn à vélo (à disposition des locataires) du centre de St-Vaast. Le jardin est très agréable et il y a de la place pour se garer.

Très jolie maison avec ravissant jardin bien entretenu (entièrement clôturé). Cadre calme et reposant. Très bien situé. Idéal pour couple ou famille (et chien). A noter, pour les ados😊�:très bonne connexion wifi et TV avec HDMI. Propriétaire sympa, disponible et discret. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en famille. N'hésitez pas !

Très beau gîte,les chambres et les lits sont confortables . Il manque de la vaisselle comme des grands saladiers et grande poêles , et petites assiettes à dessert.Dans l’ensemble nous sommes plutôt satisfaits. Le propriétaire est charmant et prêt à rendre service.

Nous souhaitions passer nos vacances dans un endroit calme afin de couper avec la cohue urbaine. De ce point de vue, la location de ce gîte fut particulièrement pertinente. Situé un peu en retrait de Saint Vaast, cette location garantie une tranquillité maximum! Par ailleurs, le grand jardin est magnifique. L'espace important permet aux enfants de pratiquer toute sorte de jeux d'extérieur. Enfin, le gite est bien équipé et comporte une connexion wi-fi de très bonne facture.
