The location of Made Punias jungle is perfect, it’s at the end of a ridge walk so there is heaps of cute cafes and warungs scattered along the road but it’s not too busy. The mango smoothie bowl was also realllyyyyy good.

It was a little bit awkward not having a roof on the shower especially when it rained 🤣

The bathroom was separate from our room which was quite inconvenient, and it was hard to sleep with how loud the wildlife was but that’s not the hotel’s fault! There was also construction going on next door which detracted from the relaxing atmosphere.

Amazing views and relaxing for young couples. Feels like you're staying in the natural jungle

The location is very remote and has stunning views of the jungle and mountains. The rooms are comfortable and clean. However the accessibility of the site makes it difficult to move large bags and get around if you're injured or elderly. The staff were wonderful.

Our first room, whilst lovely and inviting, the bathroom was detached and had pebbles on the ground of the shower making it hard on the feet and wetting our toilet paper. =(

The room was super beautiful and the balcony was the cherry on top, absolutely great view! The place is away from the hustle from the main city, you need to have a scooter to commute to the city, its a 20-30 minute ride to the city. The location and surroundings are super beautiful, lush green rice fields, a few cafes and shops to enjoy. All in all a great peaceful surrounding.

My Room was the double room with balcony, it was close to the entrance, the rest of the rooms can be tricky to get to with many many many stairs. The city is 30 min scooter ride away.

Yuk!

When we arrived there was no power so no air con the main thing you need in a place like that. Lots of construction around which we were not made aware of, nothing around only a couple of restaurants in the middle of no where hard to get taxis! We literally stayed there for a hour and booked another place in town. The room was smelly and through a dodgy little ally way. No space for kids to play at pool area. Creepy vibes with millions of stairs do not stay here if you have small Children!

Nice breakfast and very nice location! It's nice and quiet. very nice service and clean. looks very much like the pictures. Not a 5 star luxury hotel - but very nice and good value for money

the staff's english skills are not the best. There are many stairs at this hotel. There are a lot of construction work - nothing bad! but just to inform - it will be going on for months The hotel is a few kilometers from the city, you have to walk in a path, that has no lights in the evening

Would not stay again in the small room

Location is very nice. Very friendly staff. Very bad that online hailing transport is not allowed. Only scam local taxi service allowed. Out of this and totally overcrowded UBUD area I would avoid visiting at all means. Scooters everywhere, even teenage children ride them for short distance instead of walking. Price is okay what is offered.

Room was very very noisy, like neighbors are in the room. Very disappointing. Could hear every word. Moldy and could use some remodeling work. Water preasure very limited

NEVER EVER

The hotel is near the hiking route - Campuhan Ridge Walk.

The hotel's rooms have no sound insulation. I could hear EVERY WORD that my neighbors said like they were in the same room. Everything in the room is old and decrepit. The table was staggering, and I couldn't work on it. This place doesn't give you a sense of security - I left no piece of my valued belongings in the room if I left. Last but not least - this hotel is located in the area with no shops/mini markets around. You'll have no chance to go out for a snack right from the hotel room, or you'll have to walk(ride) for 40(20) minutes. All in all: these were the 2 most horrible nights while I was in Bali.

Not welcomed at all

View from swimming pool

I arrived after a long travel thinking I ll find a good and quiet place but when I arrived they gave me the room that is not inside the hotel but it is outside a vitrine on the main Road with no glass so very noisy. I told them that is not what I came for and they offered to change me for another room but only if I paid the same amount I paid for two nights. In the description there is no information about this room I book that is not even part of the hotel. For instance to go to the swimming pool you have to cross by the street and re enter thw whole stairs. The key for this room is the key for a shop that was here before and hard to open the door. I was very surprised about this and disappointed the way they deal with my problematic. Very arrogant employees. After I ask for hair dryer that I saw in the other room but not in mine and at the beginning they refused to gave me one. I don’t like the way they treat me, I usually am a very chill traveler.

Not suitable for family with old parents or disabled as the property have steep stairs, which is difficult to access. We were assigned a room like shop with glass door facing the road, which was difficult to close and didn't felt safe. Also open balcony & washroom with just curtains, which was not safe for family. Also property didn't complete the development, which was unappealing.

Inconvenient location

The staff were very friendly

The room we stayed in was virtually outside with mosquitoes and a half closed mosquito net on the bed, there was geckos inside our room and when we arrived the lock was broken on our door so we felt quite unsafe from the outset. The road was extremely loud and due to there being little windows or cover we could hear everything. My main downfall was that I felt quite unsafe and uneasy in the property

I like the pool, nice view surrounds by jungle

I don't like the toilet, it's separated from our bedroom (outside of the bedroom, in the hallway) with a window facing the main street. One day on a rainy day. I was sitting on the toilet and a man was standing just outside my window... it was an embarrassing moment. I came as a family, and my daughter with her partner had a room with a glass door right next to main street like it was built for a shop. Despite all of that, the swimming is very nice and the view is beautiful.

As usual, ubud's nature is great.

İn the superior family room that we have booked there was a heavy smell which makes it impossible to stay in the room. Staff havent helped us all, give us no solution, they only care about the money, the receptionist insisted she cannot cancel our reservation. At the end, we have to move into a junior suit which cost us 2 night price in the room we mainly booked, for a one night in junior suit. I dont get treated well and for hotel's fault, they make us have to pay. If you want to treated as a customer with well manners, dont come here because good treatement doesnt exisr in here. Especially stay away from the receptionist.

Great value for money, attentive and friendly staff, would 100% reccommend

Location is absolutely fantastic. Outside the busy center of Ubud but with a great selection of restaurants nearby and easily accessible transport. Pool is fabulous looking out on the jungle.

Air con not present in all rooms. Ours was fan only. No insect net above the doors with unclosable gaps above, leading to many ants, geckos, cockroaches and hornets being able to get in unobstructed.
