ApartUP Saplaya Harbour

Die Aussicht ist super, direkt am Stand! Im Quartier gibt es shops und restaurants, grosser Supermarkt zu Fuss erreichbar. Dank dem Auto waren wir immer schnell in der Stadt. Einmal mussten wir mit dem Bus fahren, das geht auch, Taxi wäre auch da. Es hat zwar keinen zugewiesenen Parkplatz aber wir haben jeden Tag unweit eine Parklücke gefunden. Wir waren über Neujahr da, daher war es ruhig in der Umgebung, im Sommer ist es sicherlich lauter. Zwei Nasszellen und beide mit Bidet.

Die Temperatur in der Wohnung war fast so tief wie draussen als wir ankamen weil direkt vor uns nicht vermietet war. Antonio hat uns den Tipp mit der Klimaanlage gegeben und dann konnten wir die Wohnung schnell aufwärmen und warm halten.

Saplaya Harbour is a good location if the beach is as important to you as Valencia itself. The harbour is it's own mini-village, made up of retirees, second home owners and holiday rentals. It had a sleepy vibe in October. As we had kids, we wanted the beach and the ability to be able to go into Valencia a few times without staying there. (The bus from the harbour takes 25 mins to get in). This property has a great balcony and is traffic free, so the kids to run around and go to the beach unsupervised.

Firstly, the sound insulation is very poor. You can hear conversations outside, next door etc. If you had noisy neighbours, it could be a problem. Secondly, the apartment is very tired and needs some attention (for the money being charged). The bathroom and tiles look like they've been there since the flats were built. Thirdly, parking isn't great - be prepared to drive around a few times till you get a space. But parking is free on the street. Lastly, we had building works next door which wasn't great. Suggest you check with the agents to ensure it's complete before you stay as we weren't informed.
