Very secluded house, that felt super private. The host was great!
Only thing to note is that you have to drive on a dirt road to get to the house. We had ATV's so it was no problem. The host sent a great video that helped us find the turn off.

Peaceful, scenic location. handy for Pollonia restaurants,swimming at Mytakas, and the ancient city of Fylakopi. Host had made efforts to set up the accommodation specially for us, and got his very lovely parents (who lived nearby) to solve a problem caused by a little misunderstanding. They were really friendly, and we enjoyed meeting them
Steep access ramp (daunting for we oldies). 750m rough dirt road access. Outdoor route to kitchen and only outdoor dining (it did rain!) (Minor problems, which did not spoil our stay)

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Filakopi. The property was clean and spacious; was a relaxed space to stay whilst exploring Milos. Gkavourakis was also extremely easy to contact and had thought of some nice extra touches like breakfast supplies and beach mattresses/umbrella. Would highly recommend.
The only thing missing at the property was an indoor seating area to relax at night - but this wouldn't stop me recommending the property to friends. Would suggest visitors rent a 4x4 to reach the property and explore the island easily too.

An absolute perfect stay. The house and the host are definitely worth it and you’ll not regret it. The house is amazingly decorated (mix of typical and modern) and really clean. You will feel disconnected and totally in harmony with this beautiful island. Gorgios is really helpful and will guide you through your stay. We recommend 100% !
