Emilia's Little Farmhouses

Our stay was wonderful: Milos is a beautiful island, and the welcome at Emilia’s Little Farmhouses was incredible. The accommodation is beautiful and thoughtfully designed down to every detail, with homemade food and drinks replenished every day with such special care and attention. The property is warm and welcoming, and it has everything you could possibly need—and perhaps even more. We truly had a wonderful time and would like to thank Anna and everyone who is part of this wonderful family.

They think of every little detail

Mr Kostas and his wife provide you with a fridge full of fresh food, including fruits and vegetables directly from their field, plus a daily dose of local dishes (pastries, salty, you name it!) prepared by his wife, honestly never found something similar. The farm is very quiet, there’s plenty of cute animals, and feels like a proper place to desconnect. Truly authentic Greek experiences. Plus to the local festival for the church close to the farm, with locals dancing until early morning. Second plus to Anna who helped us warmly and provided lots of tips.

Its located in the middle of the island, so clearly you’ll need car and 15min ish to go to the beaches, but that’s already clear if your book the place so wouldn’t call it an issue

Where do I start!?! This place was phenomenal. If i could rate it 15 out of 10 I would! It was the best vacation rental I have ever been to, and the best vacation rental my other family members who stayed with me had ever been to. I felt like such a special guest in their home. The property is even more beautiful than in the pictures and the hosts are SO hospitable! Anna met us at the house and told/showed us everything we needed to know about the property. She also gave us a map of milos and reviewed all of the areas with us, noting where we should go for what activities. The fridge was always FULLY stocked. They don't advertise breakfast, but they really could. We had fresh eggs from their chickens, fruits and vegetables from their garden, yogurt bread, ham, cheese, homemade jams, olives from their trees, etc. There were also cakes and granola. The house was cleaned every day and the host made us homemade Greek food that she left at the house for us daily! It was so sweet, and so unexpected....and so delicious! I truly felt like an honored guest who was being wined and dined in someone's home. It is the best hospitality I've had in quite some time. I would recommend this place to everyone, and if I go back to Milos I will definitely stay here again! Side note: If you like cats there are cute, sweet cats here (that stay outside). If you don't like cats or are allergic there are cats ALL over Greece so prepare yourself! (also the cats at the house are easy to avoid, and stay outside, and don't bother you if you don't want to interact - so it shouldn't be a problem. I'm allergic to cats and was fine. My only advice for people with cat allergies - don't sit on the chairs with the fabric cushions outside as they definitely have cat fur/dander on them. The wooden chairs are fine)

Everything was amazing! The only thing that can be tough is that it is a little confusing navigate to the house (Especially the first time) and it is out of cell service range (until you connect to the house wifi). So we found downloading an offline map ahead of time was helpful for getting there when we didn't have cell service. But even though it was in a more secluded area, it only took 10 minutes to get into town and we were 10-25 minutes from everywhere we wanted to go! It is very centrally located on the Island. Also we rented a small 4-door sedan and that worked totally fine for the roads to the house!
