The room itself was very nice and very clean. However for the price it was such a shame to have no shade at all. No umbrella or awning and in the intense heat and with the dangers of skin cancer these days, it seemed a big over sight and would prevent us coming back. A car here is pretty essential. We and other guests realised quickly and went and hired cars.
As above. Some shade is really essential. Certainly something we would expect at nearly £200 a night. First time in all our years of island hopping we haven’t found any. Also a very basic requirement is somewhere to hang and dry your clothes. It also would have been helpful to have had some information in the room about the area and also some guidance how to get into town. We arrived in the evening and ended up getting lost in the fields in the dark. It’s a lovely walk by day across fields and into town and easy to find your way in day light. Finally some kitchen utensils would have been helpful.
