Welcome to The Old Quay House, a beautifully restored historic home set right on the harbour in the charming village of Fethard-on-Sea. With the beach just steps from your front door, this is a truly special coastal escape designed for unforgettable family gatherings.
Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views across the headland and harbour, stretching over Bannow Bay and all the way to Kilmore Quay. Three private balconies, the dining room, and many of the bedrooms capture these stunning sea views, while expansive windows flood the open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas with natural light.
Perfect for extended and multi-family holidays, the house comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests. There are six bedrooms (five ensuite), plus a separate upstairs lounge with a double bed and settee that can serve as an additional private bedroom.
The ground floor features three bedrooms and a large games room complete with pool table, table tennis, step machine and exercise bike — all with harbour views. Outside, generous gardens and a patio terrace provide the ideal setting for al fresco dining and relaxed evenings by the sea.
Private driveway parking for four cars is available, with additional space at the east entrance. There is also room for a boat and trailer.
The village centre is just a short stroll away, offering pubs, cafés, shops and local amenities. Located on the renowned Hook Peninsula — famous for its coastline, beaches and sunshine — this is one of Ireland’s most loved holiday destinations, only two hours from Dublin and 30 minutes from Waterford.

This was a great property for a family to enjoy Ireland. There is a terrific view of the sea from every window! We spent a lot of time on the pier and beach right across form the property. There are Many wonderful walks from the house to the village and to the nearby beaches and cliff walks. The locals were very friendly and helpful. We found plenty of touristy areas nearby as well as enjoying eating and shopping in nearby Waterford and Wexford. Just traveling from one spot to another on the very scenic roads is a thrill!
In other words this property is a very good location and very well provisioned for a large group to have a wonderful time! I highly recommend it!
