Portico di ottavia prime location with internal courtyard

We lived the location in Rome. It was very easy to access the 63bus which took us to many sites. The neighborhood was safe and very peaceful in the Jewish Ghetto. Easy walk to Pantheon, Campo de Fiori, Capitoline Museum, and Trastevere. It was also a ground floor apartment with a lovely interior garden.

We liked the location overall, but it was difficult to get to the apartment because the street was a closed pedestrian street. When leaving, we hired a driver to take us to the airport and he helped us get our luggage from the door to the taxi.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar. Mittendrin und trotzdem ruhig. Die Ausstattung ist gut, nicht komfortabel. Es ist gemütlich und einfach, so wie es in alten Häusern mit Flair ist. Schön ist der Sitzbereich im Innenhof.

Eigentlich nichts - die Wohnung ist dunkel im Erdgeschoss. Das ist typisch für die Lage und eine Wohnung mitten im ‚echten‘ Leben, nicht speziell für Touristen hergerichtet.

There was no breakfast (we weren’t expecting one). Raffaella met us late in the evening as our planes were running 3 hrs late. She was kind and gracious to us.

Nothing earth shattering. I guess I could say the shower head wouldn’t stay in a fixed position. It was a minor thing. We really liked it. Very central to attractions.

Can't beat the location. It's right on the main street of the Jewish quarter. Dozens of restaurants at the door and only a 10 minute walk to all the attractions of Rome. Very secure and safe with plenty of Carabinieri in the neighborhood and 3 locked doors to get into property. On the ground level so no stairs.

Very disappointed from beginning. Room wasn't ready when we arrived even though initial messages stated it would be and had to wait 30 mins for keys to arrive. Even though we paid for breakfast we didn't receive café tokens from host. This meant there was a heated exchange at the restaurant and as a result not returning for our 3 other paid and entitled meals. Apartment barley sleeps 4 people comfortably and 3rd bed is very awkwardly located. Shower pressure was a dribble at most and many broken facilities like multiple broken door handles and toilet paper holder.
