Mattia's penthouse - view over Trastevere roofs

We - two adults and a baby - stayed for one week and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is exactly like in the fotos, very well located just at the edge of Trastevere, where we were near the nightlife while it was still quiet. There are many nice restaurants nearby and two supermarkets just a short walk away. Also public transportation options are very near. The kitchen is well equipped, the bed was comfortable and the AC was an absolute lifesaver, since we visited during a heatwave in August. Communication with Roberto was easy and friendly. It's important to note, that the apartment is a three story walkup, but we could leave the stroller downstairs. Thank you for a great stay!

Everything was good. If I had to say something: the washing mashine was broken and even though Roberto promptly tried to fix it, it wasn't possible during our stay. But it wasn't a big deal for us

The property was so spacious for a studio, perfect for where we wanted to stay.

Nothing wrong for us, we stay away from commercial hotels and this was a perfect fit for us, felt like a home away from home

Everything about the apartment was great. The mattress, neighbourhood, air conditioning and hot water worked well. Photos in the listing are very accurate. The stairs were an effort - we can confirm 76 of them, both up and down. The day we arrived was the day the door lock seized, locking us out mid-day. Roberto’s arrival was as close to immediate as you could hope for. In spite of it being late afternoon on a Sunday, he was able to dismantle the mechanism, find the parts, and refit the door / frame to the new lock. How a host reacts when things go “off of the rails”, is an important consideration. Lastly, lots of great places to eat in the immediate area, and we walked everywhere from here, including the Borghese Gallery and train station. Very doable if you have the inclination & good shoes. We would definitely stay here again.

It was located in a decent area close to a bus stop and very lively at home. Also great restaurants nearby.

The a/c was broken so it did not cool the home at all and also made a loud noise that interrupted our sleep. A washer was listed as available but did not function properly and there was no clothe line to dry the clothe.
