Nyons is a town in the Drôme Provençale close to the pre-Alps and Mont Ventoux where life is good, as the local child writer René Barjavel used to say.

Nyons is a great town. Situated in beautiful scenery. With many pretty villages around. It has a lots older buildings and a fantastic weekly market. The gite is ten minutes level walk to town centre, with boulangerie close by.
The gite is well equipped (although some instructions on how to use equipment would have helped). Unfortunately the promised Internet was not working.
