The Mas Saint Jaume cottage, completely renovated, is adjoining the owners' mas, but not overlooked, with independent entrance and private terrace. Covering an area of 65 m², it is located in the countryside, on enclosed terraced land.
It offers a living room and kitchen area under a stone vault with a convertible sofa. It also has 2 bedrooms (1x160 and 1x140), a bathroom fitted with a double sink unit and Italian shower and a separate toilet.
The swimming pool (8x4) overlooks the valley and offers you a very beautiful panoramic view.
You have a private terrace of 60 m² with a covered part housing a summer kitchen with barbecue and gas plancha.

This was a good property with a great outdoor kitchen & a lovely pool. Unfortunately, there was a curfew on the pool: 10am to 7pm & in the heat of July, this was disappointing. The living space is small & poorly ventilated & in order to sleep comfortably, we had to purchase a fan. We found out in the check-in communication that towels were not included - we had to pay 20 euro for the use of shower & pool towels! In all the houses we've rented over the years in France, other European countries, Australia, New Zealand & America we've never had to pay for the use of towels. We loved nearby Nyons, & explored Provence extensively, so we found this gite's location extremely good.

Gite was as discribed in the initial booking. Owners, all though there was a language issue we managed to communicate when needed. We didn't see too much of them which was a good thing. The only issue we had was the incline to the property from the car park to the cottage and then to the pool. My wife who has mobility issues could not manage to make the steps up to the very nice pool ares. Perhaps this is something that could be added to the initial discription. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay, we would return...

The view of Nyons from this property is simply stunning. You have breathtaking vistas of the mountains and town below and the home itself is gorgeous. The master and second bedroom are spacious enough and the living area is incredibly unique. Plenty of amenities, it was march so we didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice, as well as outdoor accommodations that would be excellent in the summer. Parking is fairly close off street below the house, the owners were very kind despite the language barrier, they provided some treats and we were able to buy some olive oil from their orchard! The only downside was the wifi was absolutely not reliable or really useful, this did provide some difficulty for my wife and I due to remote work needs but overall the stay was wonderful.

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Apartment ist wunderschön, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Der Außenbereich bietet einen tollen Grill, einen schönen Pool und viel Platz zum Essen, in der Sonne liegen und um die tolle Aussicht zu genießen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Une belle découverte au pays des olives . Gîte charmant, au calme où l'on peut apprécier le silence et le chant des oiseaux . Les hôtes sont des personnes très agréables et très discrètes. Le gîte est parfaitement agencé, tout est réfléchi pour le bien être des locataires, la piscine avec son accès privé est très appréciable. Je recommande cette location sans hésitation et espère pouvoir y retourner très vite .

Die Ferienwohnung liegt wunderschön abgeschieden oberhalb von Nyons. Von der weiter oben gelegenen Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick auf die Stadt und die Berge. Eine weitere kleine Terrasse ist hübsch mit einem Tisch und zwei Stühlen möbliert. Hier kann man wunderbar frühstücken und je nach Jahreszeit auch zu Abend essen. Die Wohnung ist gut eingerichtet und sehr schön dekoriert. Von Nyons aus kann man die wunderschöne Drome provencal erkunden. Es gibt sehr viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Nyons ist ein hübsches Städtchen: man kann dort sehr gut einkaufen, besonders die lokalen Olivenspezialitäten. Unsere Gastgeber, die auch im Haus wohnen, waren sehr freundlich und diskret.

Die Wohnung ist sehr, sehr gepflegt und sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet.Die Lage ist für den Ruhesuchenden einfach perfekt, trotzdem ist man schnell im Ort. Es gibt in der Umgebung viel zu entdecken, aber man kann auch einfach mal „ abhängen“ und die ganzen Vorzüge der Unterkunft ( Terrasse, Aussenküche und natürlich den schöngelegenen Pool) genießen. Bett war sehr bequem, die Vermieter sehr nett, diskret aber immer zu erreichen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen die Unterkunft unbedingt weiter.

Deze woning is prima in orde, mooi zwembad erbij. Gastheer en vrouw zijn aardig, spreken wel alleen frans, voor ons geen probleem. In en rond het huis (buitenkeuken)zijn alle voorzieningen aanwezig. Huis ligt wel boven op een (vrij steile) berg. Binnen 5 minuten ben je met de auto in Nyons.

Het verhuurde deel is de benedenverdieping van de eigenaren, die dus zelf boven wonen. De privacy is echter uitstekend. Het huurgedeelte is ‘romantisch’ gebouwd en ingericht. De slaapkamers zijn wat krapjes, maar hebben voldoende bergruimte en zijn sfeervol aangekleed. De kwaliteit van de bedden was prima. Vanuit de 2e slaapkamer moet je wel via de woonkamer naar badkamer en toilet. Het buiten terras is groot (met een overdekte keuken met gas BBQ en -kookplaat) en heeft een fantastisch uitzicht over oa Nyons. Via een grinttrap achterlangs het huis kom je bij het kleine maar mooie en goed onderhouden zwembad: ook weer met een fijn terras met ligstoelen en hetzelfde uitzicht. Het weggetje, vanaf de hoofdweg naar het huis 1500 m, is vrij steil: alleen geschikt met auto, e-bike en geoefende fietser. Nyons: leuke stad met alle faciliteiten en een prachtige omgeving. Op zondag is er een ‘kleine’ markt (tot half sept). Op donderdag is de ‘grote markt’: aanrader! Al vele jaren huren we vakantiewoningen in Frankrijk. In dit geval vonden we de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding aangenaam.

Wir waren bereits das zweite Mal hier und wieder sehr zufrieden. Das Haus liegt in Oliven- und Ginsterhainen oberhalb von Nyons und man hat vom Pool und Terasse einen traumhaften Blick über den Ort. Nyons bietet schöne Märkte, eine Ölmühle und Lavendeldestillerie, sowie provenzalischen Flair mit engen Gassen, kleinen Geschäften und Restaurants. Es gibt genug Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und zum Erholen den wunderschönen Pool. Neben der großen Terasse gibt es einen großen überdachten Bereich mit zwei Gasgrills und Essensbereich. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und durch die dicken Steinwände selbst im Sommer angenehm temperiert. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, kümmern sich wenn etwas benötigt wird, ansonsten ziehen sie sich zurück und obwohl sie im gleichen Haus wohnen, bemerkt man sie nicht. Das Mas St. Jaume ist der ideale Ort, um sich abseits des Trubels zu erholen und die Natur und die Aussicht zu genießen. Wunderbar!

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique dans le gîte de Madame et Monsieur Dufranc. Ce mas, merveilleux reconstruit, est de toute beauté, tout n'est qu'enchantement aussi bien au niveau des espaces extérieurs (notamment la piscine) qu'au niveau du gîte très bien pensé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Celui-ci nous a permis de ne manquer de rien notamment pour cuisiner à l'intérieur comme sur la terrasse et sa cuisine d'été parfaitement équipée elle aussi. Différents endroits aménagés appellent à la détente et tout cela au calme avec juste le chant des oiseaux ! Quel bonheur ! Madame et Monsieur Dufranc : encore merci pour votre accueil, vos charmantes attentions, votre amabilité, votre disponibilité, votre écoute et votre discrétion. C'est sûr que nous aurons envie de revenir dans votre propriété, vous revoir ainsi que Némo !

Een heerlijk vakantiehuis op een prachtige plek. Er is een mooie buitenkeuken aanwezig met prima BBQ. Het huis is bescheiden qua oppervlakte maar zeer verzorgt ingericht. Je kunt hierdoor ook binnen comfortabel verblijven met 4 personen. Het zwembad is prachtig met voor iedereen een ligbed. Het uitzicht vanaf het terras en het zwembad is prachtig. In 20 minuten loop je van de berg af het leuke marktstadje Nyons in. De markt is een begrip in de omgeving. De eigenaren van het huis wonen boven het huis. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam en hebben veel respect voor de privacy van de gasten. Daarom kan ik niet anders zeggen dan er is hier spraken van een model verblijf.

Wer ein gepfelgtes Anwesen in absolut ruhiger Lage mit wunderbarem Weitblick, sympatischen Vermietern und einem einladenden Pool schätzt, der ist bei Annie und Serge genau an der richtigen Adresse. Wir (2 Erwachsene; 1 Kind) verbrachten sehr schöne Tage im und ums Mas Saint-Jaume. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung samt Außenbereich entsprach voll und ganz den offizillen Angaben und hat unseren Urlaub bereichert. Wir haben uns einfach wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. MERCI

Die Wohnnug ist einfach toll. Die Angaben in der Annonce stimmen genau überein. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll , alles ist sauber, gepflegt und ausreichend vorhanden. Zu unserer Reisezeit ist es sehr heiß gewesen, da war Wohnung angenehm kühl . Wir haben gern die angrenzende Sommerküche genutzt. Der Pool ist traumhaft. Man sitzt mit den Beinen im Wasser auf dem Beckenrand und kann den Ort und das Tal überblicken. Das Ehepaar Dufranc ist sehr nett, hifsbereit aber immer diskret. Wir bedanken uns sehr für den schönen Urlaub und die vielen Aprikosen. L'appartement est tout simplement génial. Les informations contenues dans l'annonce correspond exactement. La décoration de l'appartement est très affectueux, tout est propre, bien entretenu et abondant. Pendant notre séjour, il faisait très chaud, il y avait d'habitation confortablement cool. Nous aimons utiliser la cuisine d'été attenante. La piscine est fantastique. Vous vous asseyez avec vos jambes dans l'eau au bord de la piscine et donnent sur la ville peut et la vallée. Le couple Dufranc est très agréable, mais hifsbereit toujours discret. Merci beaucoup pour les vacances agréable et les nombreux abricots.

Das Haus lässt keine Wünsche offen: sehr gute Ausstattung und sehr gepflegt, wundervolle Aussicht - selbst vom Pool aus, ruhig über Nyons gelegen. Besonders hat uns die Sommerküche und der Poolbereich begeistert. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und jederzeit hilfsbereit, dabei aber auch diskret. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Le Gîte réalise tous nos souhaits: très bien situé (calme et avec une vue extraordinaire sur Nyons et les montagnes), équipé, décoré et traité. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la cuisine d'été et la piscine. Tout est réalisé avec beaucoup de goût et des idées brillantes. Si vous recherché le confort, le calme et l'authenticité, ce gîte est fait pour vous !!! Rien n'est laissé au hasard....nous avons passé 15 jours très agréables. Gîte très propre et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, nous avons pris tous nos repas à l'extérieur au rythme des cigales avec cette vue incroyable sur Nyons. La piscine est magnifique et bien aménagée, nous y avons passé de très bon moments !!! Merci à tous les deux Annie et Serge.
