We really enjoyed our time at the house, and we are planning to come back again. The house is cozy, calm, quiet, and very pleasant to stay in. Since the house is located away from the main streets, you feel private and close to nature. Everything is clean and smells nice. The hosts are responsive, polite, and kind. There is a wooden gazebo on the property with a table — a lovely place to sit with friends or family, or even to draw. There is a lot of greenery around. There is also passion fruit growing in the yard, and the owners allowed us to eat it. They also treated us to fruits and local sweets — it was such a warm, kind gesture. There is an open massage room as well, and you can book a massage. The house has three rooms. In my opinion, two rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and one is average in terms of coziness. Each room has its own toilet and shower. There is hot water. There is also an open living area and a kitchen. Rice fields are nearby, and you can walk around them. The Wi-Fi works well, and there is drinking water available.

we stayed 4 days with our 2 young daughters. highly recommend, Nyoman and his family will make you feel part of it and let you discover the area amazingly 😊 Our daughters loved playing and cooking with the family which was great for us to relax in the middle of the rice fields and mountains.

the host was very kind and helpful. she helped me dry my soaked jacket. food is delicious it was next to the trail road to cloves plantations and have great experience walking the the trail to the munduk market. very tiring but worth it

no toothbrush/ tooth paste. I usually bring my toothbrush but this one is rather unplanned

Amazing experience with warm, welcoming locals in the countryside

This place is something special. The atmosphere is very cozy and personal, as the place is run by a family and also there are only two guest rooms. The location is awesome if you enjoy nature, rice fields and like to wake up literally with the roosters. The superior room has a balcony with a great view, perfect to relax or watch the sunset. The facilities are basic, but sufficient and clean (except when some inhabitants of the garden accidentally find their path into the house, but that is unavoidable in a healthy eco system). The food is really great and prepared with much care. The staff is so warm and friendly! We got to know different family members and all contributed to our experience, be it as cook, sight seeing organizer or trekking guide. All can be arranged directly with them. We learned so much from them about the area and Balenese culture in general. If you enjoy getting in contact with the local people, who really care about you, but also about sustainable tourism to support their community in the long run, come and visit!

After showering the water takes a long time to dry. But that's it ;-)

The location is very beautiful, rooms were clean and comfortable, we enjoyed the meals and the staff was friendly.

We were 3 adults and were given a room for two with a room with a bed in the terrace. Since this was not fine, we raised the issue and the staff accepted to give us an additional single room.

Lovely and quiet stay

What a lovely place, in the middle of such a beautiful nature. So quiet! The family is super friendly, and they make you a comfortable stay. The food is simpel but delicious, the breakfast is great. Our room was so nice and our balcony had a great view, so we could watch an amazing sunset. We can really recommend this place!!!

Séjour exceptionnel à Kubu Shanti Sanda

Notre séjour à Kubu Shanti Sanda a été exceptionnel. La tante du propriétaire a été à nos petits soins pendant 4 jours en nous aidant avec les repas et avec les enfants. Le personnel est vraiment aimable, présent et chaleureux. Le jour de mes 30 ans, on m'a même préparé un festin Balinais. La propriété est magnifique et très spacieuse, bien située au milieu des rizières, un vrai havre de paix. Les hôtes sont venus nous chercher plusieurs fois pour qu'on puisse aller se baigner ou manger à leur hôtel. Je recommande vivement un séjour pour tous ceux qui visitent Munduk.

Le seul point négatif qui est aussi un point positif est la distance avec le petit centre ville. Il faut absolument louer des scooters pour s'y rendre !

Une maison pleine d’âme et d’authenticité à Munduk 🌿

Nous avons loué cette charmante maison à Munduk, simple mais pleine d’authenticité. C’est un endroit où l’on ressent vraiment le cœur de la vie balinaise. Même si ce n’était pas le logement le plus luxueux de notre séjour, c’est sans doute celui où nous nous sommes sentis le mieux. La simplicité, la beauté du lieu et surtout la vue depuis la chambre du haut, absolument magique, nous ont conquis. Ce que nous avons particulièrement aimé, c’est l’histoire de cette maison : elle appartenait à l’origine à un couple d’Américains, mais les Balinais ont voulu lui redonner vie, estimant qu’une maison vide porte une mauvaise énergie. On sent qu’elle a une vraie âme, nourrie par la gentillesse et la générosité de ceux qui s’en occupent. L’accueil est chaleureux, attentionné, sans être envahissant. Nos hôtes partageaient des anecdotes, donnaient d’excellents conseils et prenaient grand soin de nous. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, et nous avons aussi dîné à l’hôtel juste au-dessus (géré par les mêmes personnes) — très bon également. Les hôtes offrent d’ailleurs l’accès à la piscine de cet hôtel, accessible en quelques minutes grâce à une navette gratuite. Ce séjour à Munduk a été un moment suspendu, entre nature, authenticité et sérénité. C’est le logement où nous avons le mieux dormi de tout notre voyage à Bali ❤️

Vaste maison au milieu des rizières hyper au calme. La cuisine au centre entre les 2 bâtiments que constituent la location. Nos hôtes y viennent préparer le petit déjeuner , excellent et surtout repas servi à part sous une partie surélevée en bois avec vue à 360° sur les environs. Nous avons pris un cours de cuisine avec le papa qui parle hyper bien l'anglais et nous a appris des tas de choses sur Bali et les indonésiens. 1 restaurant à 100 mètres si l'on veut. Départ pour visites des cascades aisé avec un taxi commandé.

Excellent séjour, n'hésitez pas à réserver!

Nous avons séjourné deux nuits dans cette belle maison située en retrait de la route et au calme! Nous avons été merveilleusement bien accueilli par la famille hôte. Nous avons adoré avoir la possibilité de se restaurer (et de se baigner) dans l'hôtel des propriétaires (shuttle mis à dispo). Les repas y sont excellents! Le personnel est également très accueillants et très sympathiques. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et servi face à des rizières. Gros coup de cœur pour Munduk et cet établissement!

La chambre twin a une petite odeur d'humidité Sinon RAS!
