Charming traditional Portugese townhouse with lovely little garden, location couldn't be better.
There was nothing we didnt like to do with the apartment. Maybe the bedroom was a little warm at night and pillows not the best

The house is rustic and totally charming in that way. It's not very spacious, but who goes to the Algarve region to stay inside?! The patio/garden area is simply delightful - every morning, we ate breakfast outside with the scent of orange blossoms in the air and enjoyed a bottle of wonderful Portuguese wine in the evening. The location simply couldn't be better in the heart of Tavira.
There's nothing I didn't like, but the bed was softer than I like, but this is a personal preference.

Our second time here we love it so much.
Ana is quick to respond to messages.
The house is perfect for two and close to all that Tavira has to offer, on the quieter side of the river.
The house has everything you could ask for : washing machine, hair dryer, full range of kitchen equipment, books, more than the usual basic food essentials, toiletries etc.
The kitchen has been upgraded since our first visit last year and now has more natural light and a gas hob.
The bathroom is spacious as is the shower area.
Best of all is the garden, hammock, deckchairs, table and chairs. A real oasis.
There is still major building work going on next door but not early or late and scheduled to finish next year.
Don't let it put you off booking.
