Cozy place great for small family! Was in town visiting family and it was a very convenient location. Neighborhood was quiet. Everything was clean when we arrived. Kids loved the bunkbed!Heater did a great job of warming up the house quickly and keeping it warm. While we didn’t cook this trip, the kitchen is well stocked with supplies. Great supply of toiletries as well. As other reviewers have mentioned, the bathroom is pretty small. Worth mentioning if you’re a larger person - very little room to maneuver. Also the kids room is the only room with a door. A detail we overlooked upon booking- there is no washer/dryer. Wasn’t a big deal thankfully but if you travel with kids like we do, that can be an issue.Could not find trashcans outside to put our waste in, so had to tie up the bags and leave it. My only suggestion to management would be to replace your coffee machine. We ended up trying to clean it best we could before using it but I think it’s time for a replacement.

I was looking for a clean and cozy place to stay while visiting family in Bremerton for a week. I initially was interested in this place because it was only a mile from the family that I was visiting, but there were so many more positives. The view, the cleanliness (especially the bedding, which I am picky about), the charm of the property, the history of it, and the location (I was able to walk to restaurants and Bremerton's waterfront and downtown area). This was a great place for a great stay. I will definitely stay again.

Upon arrival the home was exactly what my sister and I needed. The interior was super cute and I love how the homeowner optimized the living space. The only drawbacks that I can speak on, and this is just personal preference, but the living room and main bedroom are one space. Again, the homeowner did great optimizing the space they have but a bit troublesome if you have someone who wants to watch tv and someone who wants to sleep. Also, the bathroom was snug. My sister and I are both plus size (20 & 26) so using the restroom was difficult as it is a smaller space. The claw foot tub was super cool however, space wise, I feel a standing shower may have been a better choice. However, that is coming from someone with no kids who need a bath to bathe them in. All in all I would absolutely recommend this home, just know that if you are larger the bathroom may be a bit of a challenge.

I loved the history of this place. Location was perfect for our stay! Hope to be back!

Overall the stay was great. I really enjoyed the binder that explained the history of the building. It was slightly frustrating when I was told last minute that my check-in time was delayed. Most everything was clean but the fan over the bed was very dusty. Other things that would have been nice were an ironing board and a hairdryer.

Overall, our stay at this location was just fine. The location itself was quite convenient with plenty of good grocery, restaurants and local attractions nearby. The neighborhood initially seemed a little concerning but quickly proved to be quite pleasant, quiet and enjoyable. The home (aka The Firehouse) had a fun feel to it given the history, but with it came an older style home. -The bathroom is quite small and very tight-quartered. The shower curtain could definitely stand to be replaced. -The water pressure at the kitchen and bathroom sinks were quite minimal at our arrival. Vacasa was very responsive and sent a maintenance worker. The pressure was still pretty weak after being fixed but likely normal for the house. -The home is dependent on a single AC unit in the main room/sleeping quarters, which made cooling the entire home challenging. Multiple portable fans were also available and luckily, the outside temperatures during our stay were manageable to begin with. -The home came set-up with bunkbeds in the second bedroom that work great for kids. The main bedroom area has a full/small queen sized bed and a convertible couch to futon that to say the least, got the job done :) Off the main room is a closet that had an air mattress available. Also, several sets of sheets, plenty of blankets and extra pillows were available and a huge plus but it was somewhat difficult to gauge which linens were clean. This home was well equipped with all the basics but plenty of extras
