Alcudia Beach Apartments

Everything. What a lovely apartment complex. Spotlessly clean, great 1 bed apartment cleaned everyday except Sundays, lovely staff who are friendly and efficient: reception, bar, animation team, cleaners. Great pool area with lots of sun loungers. Couldn’t fault this accommodation and would definitely stay again. Thank you to all of the staff we encountered during our stay.

1.we found bugs in the room on ground floor, we moved to 6th floor after 1 night. 2. they are not cleaning the rooms every day.

- The best thing about this place was its location. It's 2-3 minutes walking distance to the nearest beach, but not the first line, so you won't have to listen to late night parties. It's also just a 5 min to the local Aqua Park, plus there is a convenience store just across the street and lots of other shops and restaurants within the 5 minutes proximity. - Our room was pretty close to what you will see at the promo pictures minus the fruits and the table setting of course. Regular cleaning service and daily fresh towels. - Air conditioning was on everywhere, but not too cold, just enough to make you comfortable considering the heat outside. - This is definitely a place oriented to family and kids, kids friendly, has a small playground for kids behind the canteen and a good swimming pool at the hotel's ground.

- Cleaning was sub-par to say the least, beds would be made up and some basic cleaning by the entrance, but everything else is literally untouched, floors, balcony, kitchen, especially below the table. Based on the amount of dirt and dust certain places have not been touched long before our visit. The floor was usually still dirty, some of the towels we got had stains or were torn. - Insulation of the door and walls was in general very bad. The front door is not isolated at all, you can see the light from the corridor and hear everything that's going on out there. The walls are pretty much the same, expect to hear your neighbours conversations, and prey that you didn't get the ones who would stay up until 2-3 a.m. at night. - Reception staff aren't particularly welcoming/look happy (there are some exceptions there, but in general they would not even say hello unless you say it first). - We had lines of red ants in our room, which was on the 4th floor, had to put up all our bags, belongings and food to avoid raids, but that still didn't stop them. No idea how they get to the 4th floor, but they were consistent guests over there. - I can't say much about the variety of the food, we only ate there 2 times, and it was OK, but you can tell that they are using the cheaper products where possible. Also this was the first place where I saw hotel charging you separately for drinks after you paid for the dinner - e.g. dinner cost X but when you go and try to grab a juice or something you have to pay for it separately (not the bar, that's separate, but the basic soft drinks you get during your dinner) - Same for the most of the on-premise amenities - you will have to pay for everything except the billiard. - Usually you get a small gift when you check-in into your room, in this case they gift you a sponge and gel for washing dishes. - Kitchen utensils were pretty dirty, kitchen has literally nothing, no salt, pepper, tea, coffee or oil.
