About this house rental
Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch Adirondacks or the bistro table of this quaint bungalow in the heart of the popular Chevy Chase neighborhood in Lexington, KY. Perfect for UK football weekends and campus events, Bourbon Trail outings or Keeneland Horse Track. The well maintained house offers ample space for up to 6 guests all on the main level. Large master suite with bathroom en suite and comfortable sitting area. Fully equipped kitchen ready for tailgate preparations! Walking distance to many local restaurants, UK campus, and fun shops. Off street parking for three cars easily!
Our home is walking distance to Kroger, shops and restaurants on Euclid in the heart of Chevy Chase, and Graeter's Ice Cream shop. We are also convenient to downtown amenities! Our favorite restaurants include Bella Cafe & Grill and Joella's, both just a stone's throw from the house.
The neighborhood is lovely to walk around and of course, the walk to UK campus and stadium is less than a mile! Perfect for a football weekend!
Kitchen features new stainless appliances, ample cabinet space, 4 seat high top table, stocked with pots and pans and pantry items and dishes. The house has a new hot water heater and central hvac system, equipped with a Nest thermostat. Full size washer and dryer are directly off the kitchen.
Bedrooms are tastefully decorated with comfy mattresses, lots of pillows and ceiling fans. Each bedroom has a nice sized closet.
Master bedroom is peaceful and relaxing! Reading area allows for an escape from the rest of the house. Spa like shower and double vanity in the master area, supplied with plenty of shampoos, soaps, conditioners, and make up removal options.
We love dogs but need to know about them prior to booking! We will allow one dog, around 50 pounds, well behaved and trained and preferably not a bed or couch sleeper...but not a dealbreaker, We just ask that you bring old sheets or blankets for covering; we have some dog blankets as well. There is a small fenced backyard, however it is accessed from the outside; no inside access to the back yard. We do have a $30 pet fee for approved pets. Be sure to let me know the details when you inquire to book! No cats or other animals permitted.
The house is equipped with keypad code for entry. We do not allow events or parties, and only registered guests are permitted overnight on the property. Thank you in advance for abiding by this important policy! We strive to make our place a "home away from home" and appreciate your respect for our neighbors.
Lexington Special Fees License/Registration 15057248-2. Maximum occupancy at any time 6; maximum overnight occupancy 6. Strict adherence to number of overnight guests is expected and required by the City of Lexington and Fayette County, Ky. No gatherings permitted under host rules and regulations at any time and any daytime guests not on the reservation must be disclosed and approved by host.

The host was very accommodating and caring for my situation. The property was conveniently located to the hospital. I tried not rate it overall because of 3 concerns, large spiderwebs were in the window of the guest bedroom, no window covering on several windows, especially at the entrance door, and the size and location of the toilet in the guest bedroom but I had to…
