    What I particularly liked about this hostel was the cleanliness. Sparkling white bedding and pillows that weren't flat or old, lovely thick doonas, everything looked new. All areas of the hostel were sparkling clean also. Special mention to the kitchen staff for their attention to what was probably the best breakfast I have ever had in the many hostels I have stayed in worldwide. They even temperature monitored the hotboxes during breakfast! The older lady who is in the kitchen and also did the housekeeping was so kind and lovely in particular. If you are a little older don't worry about that. I'm not young but most guests were older, of course there were younger people there also but I didn't feel out of place. It's a hard walk up the hill but a frequent bus drops you at the bottom of the hostel drive so location isn't an issue.

    We were two friends spending two nights in Bath in Autumn. The place is a little far from town centre but very easily reached by bus or even walking since the scenary was quite beautiful. The place is quite clean but you need to bring your own bath towels, soap and shampoo as they were not provided. The place itself was beautiful and worth the money. And bathroom was very clean. We were the only two in the room so we didnt have to share with any strangers as well which was perfect.

    I know Bath is an expensive area, but over £***a night to climb a hill to get the hostel, to have no curtains on the beds in an 8-bed dorm, and no breakfast included is a ripoff. On top of that, the food in the hostel is expensive, and the shared bathrooms near the kitchen are dirty. The positives are the free games, water refill station, and kitchen area.
