A nice hotel - big rooms which have some signs of tiredness but are clean and well presented. We booked independently and so needed to get a ferry from Dubrovnik port - not a problem and only 4 euros each way. Easily walkable from the ferry. Gym is tiny - 4-5 pieces of equipment. Pool is nice. Beach is fabulous and right outside - proper sand too which is unusual in Croatia. The food was plentiful and varied but quite bland and all buffet style. Inclusive drinks (wines in particular) were fairly basic. The outside bar is the nicest and the staff member there takes a lot of trouble to interact and make nice cocktails. Some staff were a bit gruff and quite transactional (I've not travelled with Tui since the kids were small but I was surprised at the lack of engagement). My partner and I were shocked to overhear a staff member on the tours desk say "I don't care what you think about your holiday". At best, a bit of training is needed in this area. Overall, a good base to explore, away from the Dubrovnik crowds...everything is good, nothing is terrible.
