The rooms could be updated a little and a glass for water would be nice. Breakfast however, excellent, massive spread of all continental and pastries were exceptional. Room really clean and bathroom good size. Location brilliant, short walk yo station & metro and not too hard to find. Check in was easy

In choosing which hotel I wanted to stay in Rome, I chose Hotel Torino for very specific reasons. Number one reason: I wanted a hotel that was near the main rail station, as well as nearby Metro stations - it was close to not only Termini, but also Repubblica. Reason number 2: I was looking for a hotel that was a reminder of the older grandeur that you can find in Rome. Reason number 3: the hotel had a fantastic deal for a room for five nights that was hard to turn down - it wasn't a budget buster. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and all of them spoke English, so there were no communication problems. The room was clean, and no problems. I did enjoy the high ceilings, which made the room feel a bit bigger. Breakfast was provided on the seventh floor, with access to the rooftop deck for dining if desired, and a wide variety of meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, etc. was provided every day. The gentleman overseeing it always kept the line well stocked and the room clean. There was a modern elevator that serviced every floor, which was very handy. Overall, I had a great stay at the Hotel Torino.

– Considering its 4-star rating, our experience was far below average. We booked a room for 3 adults, and unfortunately, it was very small, smelly, and uncomfortably hot. Basic amenities such as water bottles and even glasses inside the room were missing. Having stayed in multiple 4-star and 5-star properties, this was by far one of the worst experiences we have had. The internet was extremely slow, and the breakfast was disappointing and poorly managed. What was most concerning was witnessing staff members eating directly by hand from the stored food items in the serving area, where food was kept for guests. This raised serious hygiene concerns and was completely unacceptable. Overall, the service, facilities, and cleanliness standards did not reflect a 4-star hotel in any way. I would not recommend this property based on our experience.
