The property staff, especially the front desk and the breakfast staff, were incredibly friendly and helpful. The property is lively in the evening on weekends. Generally a younger crowd as you’d expect at a hostel. We stayed in an en-suite room with four beds (2 bunk beds). The room was clean with the one exception being the shower had a slight smell. Would recommend.

Incredible hostel, with a great area and big rooms. The only bad side was that they booked 2 men in a women's dorm, and the shower was unstable. The water was at a good temperature, but sometimes I’d like it a bit hotter, but couldn’t change it and the shower volume was ok, alternating with a more desirable amount of water

We realized the air conditioning wasn’t working properly even after we turned it on and cranked it to the max. It didn’t not make any difference. We thought because it was due to the hot summers day but at night when we were getting ready for bed & it is dark out, the aircon did not emitted any cold air whatsoever. My wife even have fan herself in the middle of the night just to get some air flow going in order to fall back asleep. We highlighted this to the front desk and they said it is absolutely normal. Their reason was because it is in the midst of Spring and Summer hence the Italian government has yet to approve cold air or electricity to be utilized. This reason struck to be as most odd but we accepted it and suffer through warm and sleepless nights. Furthermore, the aircon resets every 4 to 5 hours even though we are still in the room. The auto turn off feature applies in the rest room as well as the lights will auto shut off after 2 minutes. The only way is to get out of the shower and walk towards the bathroom door to reactivate the motion sensor to turn the lights back on, I suppose this is to encourage the hotel guest to take shorter showers. It may be obvious but we are never going back there to stay again.
