The Cube Hotel is in an excellent location, a short walk from Myeongdong station. The check in process was easy where I received codes for doors and lockers etc, the rooms were clean and private. I was impressed with the bathroom, one of the better shared arrangements that I have experienced.

    Clean and comfortable bed capsule
    5.6 / 10·Sep 2026
The hotel is a good choice for solo travelers. The location is very convenient just around a 5–10 minute walk to Myeongdong and the 24-hour self check-in is a plus. Just take note that there is no elevator. Female rooms are on the 2nd floor and male rooms are on the 3rd floor, so you’ll need to carry your luggage upstairs. Another thing to consider is the power outlets. The outlets near the bed space and even inside the bathroom may not be compatible with your plugs, so make sure to bring a suitable travel adapter. This can be a bit inconvenient, especially if you need to charge several devices. The main downside for me was the staff. Unfortunately, they were not very friendly or approachable during my stay. Even a simple smile or a warmer interaction with guests would make a noticeable difference. Overall, the location and convenience are great for solo travelers, especially if your priority is being close to Myeongdong. However, the customer service and a few practical amenities could definitely be improved.
