    Fremantle is a cool area with good weekend night life. The sundancer is a fun hostel and a good spot if you want to socialise with other travelers.

    I’m sorry to say but it is my first time giving bad review. Had the worst backpacker experience here in Sundancer. I actually booked this hotel for a short rest as I had my proposal in the morning and planning for photoshot session in the afternoon, thinking of renting a bed here so that my girlfriend to have a place for making up and rest before the photography session. We went in the hotel at around 3:15pm, met their Manager, Oliver Sandow. Greeted by him with an unhappy expression. After knowing that we just need a place for make up and short rest, and been informed that we would checked out and pickup our luggage after the photography session, he asked my girlfriend if we still need a bed then? ( I had actually booked the bed for one night through AGODA and paid fully prior, but it’s okay as my girlfriend just need a place to freshen up abit) My girlfriend then replied “if no also okay, just need to use the bathroom.” He then lead my girlfriend to bathroom, didn’t give us any entrance card. Didn’t give us any bed. And we have to keep our luggage in the lobby. Ridiculous right? But it’s okay, What happen then was when I was waiting for my girlfriend in the lobby, I heard Oliver was complaining to his friend, Alessandro Mazza, that we just rented their hotel for bathroom, with a rude expression ( I see it with my own eyes ) I then approach Alessandro, asked if we had done anything wrong that make Oliver unhappy about. Luckily Alessandro managed the situation quite well with a polite behaviour. Another thing is that, all their toilet bowl have shit stain. Not properly cleanse. Otherwise, the location and facilities here are good.

    I had the most amazing experience during my time at Sundancer. Alessandro truly made my stay in Perth so magical. I was staying at another hostel down the street and my stay here transformed my time in Perth/Fremantle. The hospitality was beyond what I have experienced and possibly could’ve expected. I highly recommend staying here and treating yourself to the best hostel experience in Perth!
