I’ve been wanting to come back to Sooke Harbour House since we guest stayed here a decade or more ago and it did not disappoint! It’s had a complete renovation so gone is the old charming ‘house’ but the charm remains and the spectacular views from every room, attentive almost European service and white chocolate mousse mushroom dessert creations that wowed my guests were all unforgettable.
Three tiny things: they need instructions on how to use the tv remote, Alexa is all-pervasive which may be a bit off putting when you are in a relaxing remote location, and be prepared that there is very bad (to non-existent) cell reception there and your carrier may charge you for being in the US even though it is in canada.
