Stayed at Riu Macao and overall had bad service. The highlight was the elite bar staff and staff at the buffet. Room service stopped at 10 pm and couldn’t get anything or anyone on the phone. Made reservations for dinner at the elite restaurant and once we got there they stated that I did not have a reservation and began being snobby. Once they realized they were wrong they rushed the entire experience at that restaurant. Also booked an excursion off resort but needed to get a ride to front gate or let driver up. After waiting for 20 mins of the front desk looking at me like they did not know what I was saying I walked to the front gate which was a pretty far walk. I would recommend the resort off of the staff alone.

This was a nice resort although were use to better. Just know not many of the staff understands English so you may want to pack your patience. The last two days of our vacation there were at least two groups of people who were rowdy and loud. There were two different fights that broke out. One fight was around 11pm the other was 2:30am there were screaming and running going on. The lack of any security was very shocking. The restaurants other than the buffet weren’t good at all. The beach was beautiful with little seaweed. Would I ever go back hmmm 🤔 probably not. The rooms were nice but be aware some rooms the AC wasn’t working. and it takes the staff forever to come and fix it! We were a group of 10 vacationing with family and friends we had fun but this resort won’t make our list again
