    Little hotel not far from all the Rome essentials. Clean and cold which was needed, staff were lovely! Only downside was one of the lights in our room was broken, and who I’m assuming was a cleaner did walk into our room without knocking which startled us. Aside this we still had a lovely stay

    I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Relais Orso. The AC at this hotel is amazing. I was actually freezing, which is unheard of in Europe! Haha. The hotel is very clean, but you can tell that there are some cleaners who are more thorough than others. The location is great. I walked everywhere from the hotel and even walked to the metro on my last day, which only took me about 10-12 minutes. I was at Termini in less than 25 minutes total. Also, they arranged airport pickup for me, which helped tremendously because I had door to door service. If you are unsure about Rome, like I was, this hotel is a SOLID choice!

    Our stay at Relais Orso was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had. The room we were given looked nothing like the photos advertised online. Instead of the bright, inviting room shown on the website, we were put in a dark room with almost no natural light. The cleanliness was unacceptable. There was visible mold on both the bedroom walls and throughout the shower. My wife is pregnant, making this especially concerning. The shower door didn't close properly, water flooded the bathroom floor every time we showered, the bathroom sink barely drained, there was a maintenance panel hanging open above the toilet, and the Wi-Fi barely worked. When we requested extra pillows because my wife is pregnant, we were given one without a pillowcase and promised housekeeping would bring more the next day. Housekeeping never came, our room wasn't cleaned despite using our towels to clean the flooded floor, and no additional pillows or pillowcases were ever provided. The night manager came to inspect the room and immediately acknowledged that the condition of the room and the mold were unacceptable. However, we were simply told the hotel was fully booked and there was nothing they could do. We were instructed to email management after our stay so they could resolve the issue. We did exactly that. It has now been well over a week, despite providing a detailed complaint and numerous photographs documenting every issue, and management has completely ignored us. Not even the courtesy of a response. I'll be attaching the photos so you can judge the condition of the room for yourself. They accurately show the mold, poor maintenance, flooding bathroom floor, and overall state of the room. There are countless hotels in Rome that will value your business. This is not one of them. Between the misleading photos, poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, broken amenities, nonexistent housekeeping, and management's complete disregard for guest complaints, I cannot recommend Relais Orso to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.
