Shower was outdated

Jacuzzi was lovely. Nice shower, very comfortable bed. Good TV with Netflix. Location was really good! Room had good air conditioning.

The ceiling was low and I kept hitting my head. The breakfast was not to my expectations- it was mainly biscuits, pastry and bread. No buffet, only table service and you don’t get to choose what you want. Nowhere to go outside of the room, no gym or pool- but that’s okay for a short stay

Unfortunately, I was not able to stay at the property I originally booked. Two days before our arrival, the host contacted me to inform me that we were being moved to a different apartment on Via del Corso, which I did not choose or book. When I asked to cancel so I could book a property of my choice, I was told I was not eligible for a refund. As a result, we were forced to stay in an apartment we had not booked, on a very busy shopping street. The location was loud and not relaxing at all, with no nearby piazzas to sit and enjoy a coffee we had to walk at least 15–20 minutes to find a pleasant area. The original property I booked was advertised as being 2–3 minutes walking distance to everything, which was the main reason I chose it. This last-minute change completely altered our experience and started the stay with disappointment. The apartment itself had very basic facilities. There was no coffee or tea provided, and the bed was extremely thin and uncomfortable we could feel the coils through the mattress. Overall, the stay did not match what was booked or expected, and the luck of flexibility and no refund option made the situation frustrating.
