    Very modern hotel but quiet dark. Outdoor facilities excellent, sunlougers, seating etc. Isolated hotel by main road. Outside of Madrid Central, so you need to get metro, changing about 3 times or taxi which can be expensive to centre. Suggest, as a 5 star hotel, a free shuttle bus maybe twice a day be offered to guests to Madrid center, which would be a good incentive when looking to book accommodation.

    Definitely not worth the money and not the category of a 5 stars hotel. The isolation in the rooms (at least the 11th floor) are horrible. You can hear when the other room is using the toilet or even if they sneeze. The aircon makes so much noise and curtains are in bad shape and very dirty. Totally disappointedz

    First of all, there are no toilet brushes in the rooms. The bathtub was not properly cleaned, and overall, considering this is a five-star hotel, the cleanliness was not up to the expected standard. Upon arrival, a €50-per-night deposit is charged, which is not mentioned anywhere in advance. The money is actually taken from your account rather than simply being held or having your card details recorded, as is more common in other hotels. The room does not have slippers or bathrobes; you have to request them separately. There is also no iron in the room, so you have to ask reception for one. The first iron we received was dirty and left stains on a white T-shirt. The next day, we were given a clean and functional iron. The swimming pool is very small and quite cold, as it is not heated. The reception staff are very friendly, helpful, and approachable. However, the waiters do not speak English well. They also do not take your order at the table—you have to go to the bar yourself to order your drinks and then carry them to your table yourself. We asked a waitress to help us bring the drinks to the table. She said she would come later, but after waiting for some time, we gave up and went to get the rest of the drinks ourselves because we could not carry everything at once. Overall, I would not consider this a five-star hotel based on our experience. However, the rooms and hallways are truly beautiful and very well designed.
