We stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel is a bit dated, but everything was clean, tidy, and well maintained. The location is convenient, especially if you need easy access to Atocha Station. However, if you plan to walk to the city center, expect a 30–40 minute walk. The positives: the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The negatives: there was no complimentary drinking water in the room, which is simply unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Considering temperatures were close to 40°C during our stay, saving a few cents on bottled water feels insulting rather than cost-effective. There was also no tea or coffee-making facility in the room. The room itself was quite small, with a view directly into a neighboring residential building just a few meters away, complete with drying laundry. We specifically requested a double bed but were given two separate beds instead. It would be helpful if bed preferences were clearly guaranteed during the booking process. The parking garage deserves a special mention—and not in a good way. Despite being a careful driver, I still managed to leave with scratches on my car. The turning angle is unbelievably tight; there is even a carved-out section in the wall that appears to exist solely to make the maneuver barely possible. And this experience costs €20 per day. If you're looking for a way to damage your car, I can certainly recommend the parking. Overall, the hotel is decent, but small details make a big difference. At a price significantly above average, this level of service might be acceptable for a 2-star hotel, but certainly not for a 4-star property. Would I stay here again? Definitely not.

It was fine. A bit pricey for what you get

I booked a King room with a King size bed. What I ended up with was two standard twins in a room I could barely move in. There was no sitting area at all. When I went to verify it, they said that was there King room. I was so exhausted from travels, I didn’t want to argue so I let it be because I knew they would hear about the switch a roo in my review. Very dishonest staff and my room look nothing like the room I booked.
