A quiet place to be with amazing breakfast. The staff were very nice and the room is cozy.
In the morning, you felt like having breakfast in your own living room. Loved the hotel support local craftsmanship and sustainability on providing hand-crafted shampoo and conditioner soap and actually nice.
The room design is minimal and very nice as well. A bit unfortunate is that the design is not the most practical but didn't really bother us as much.

We opted for a two night stay after a fortnight in Cape Town, and this small hotel was just the perfect choice. We met likeminded guests who appreciate the thoughtful design and materiality of the building, and its calm stance. It is a sensitively renovated structure with natural materials and couloir palette, with the travertine bath and basins the superlative expression of this design idea. We loved the zero waste breakfast and the inviting kitchen where we ate it. There is a small library and a small courtyard that offer welcome shade and a restful, reflective space. We’d like to single out Esther and Margarida who were most kind and welcoming indeed. The hotel is situated close to a park and many good neighbourhood restaurants including Tapisco, which is in the Michelin guide. There are a few market stalls along the main road by the park , where we supported local exhibitors and crafters.This hotel is so peaceful and well situated as a stylish base for a city break. We look forward to visiting again.
