    I enjoyed this hostel although it does come with a few annoying quirks. I'm a guy and out dormitory has no lock but the women's has a lock that requires a password. That isn't a problem, except there's nothing in place to help those who forget the code. I woke up at 6am to find a Japanese girl sitting in the kitchen area of the male dormitory because she had stepped out into toilet area early in the morning (5am) to do her laundry and forgot both the card with combination code and her phone. So she couldn't ring anyone. She say for an hour until she saw me and I helped her. The girl in her dormitory didn't respond to heavy knocks as she's a deep sleeper. There has to be something else in place for this situation. Also, the bathroom towels were terrible and didn't soak up water, so drying off after a shower was headache. Plus I didn't like sleeping with a light bulb hanging down over my head, suspended by wire. It just felt clumsy and a tad bit dangerous. All in all, a good hostel with a lot of room for improvement.
