I booked this as I needed to have surgery at Mayo Clinic and it had pretty good reviews on this site…. also, it had free breakfast!
The second we walked into our room we realized it was not as nice as portrayed online. It just did not feel very clean and my sister insisted on wearing shoes the entire time we were there lol the beds weren’t super comfortable and different parts of the room had stains on different things. I am kind of a germ freak so I always pack Clorox wipes just in case and after wiping down the recliner in the room the stain on it came off, wiping down the desk area. There was a stain that came off, same thing on two different parts of the wall, where my suitcase was near. It just seemed like it was kind of rushed to be cleaned.
There was a recliner in the room, which would be nice for somebody that had surgery and it was spacious on that area so a wheelchair or a walker would easily fit in so that was one positive.
I had never been to Mail before so I don’t know why I thought it was a small town, but it was about a 10 minute Uber ride so it also was not very close to where I ended up needing to have surgery and it’s my fault but I should have looked into that before booking it
