I liked the hotel so much that I decided to extend my stay. I give it 5 stars as it deserves it.

I will gladly recommend and would like to come back again. The hotel is quaint and cozy, and very clean. Staff are very nice and helpful. The location is ideal for walking distance to various famous buildings such as Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, spice bazaar. Price is very reasonable for this delightful hotel.

Location: The hotel's location is one of its few highlights, offering convenient access to public transportation and proximity to several historical landmarks — ideal for sightseeing on foot. However, travelers planning a visit during local holidays should be aware that the area becomes extremely crowded, which significantly impacts the overall experience. Room Size & Bathroom : The rooms are on the smaller side, with particularly compact bathrooms — typical of boutique hotels in the old city. This is worth noting especially for larger-framed guests, who may find the space quite restrictive. Cleanliness : The room appeared recently renovated and was generally clean. That said, housekeeping standards could be improved: towels were replaced every other day rather than daily, and no room service was provided on Sundays. Comfort – Major Concern : This is where the experience fell significantly short. The room was situated directly alongside the T1 tram line, resulting in constant and disruptive noise from as early as 6:00 AM until past midnight. Light sleepers and those accustomed to sleeping in will find this particularly problematic. Additionally, the beds consisted of two singles pushed together, which is far from ideal for couples, and the mattresses themselves lacked adequate comfort. Management & Service : Unfortunately, the management's response to guest concerns was disappointing. Upon requesting a room change due to the significant noise issue, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked. However, throughout my entire 6-night stay, new rooms remained bookable online — raising serious questions about the transparency and willingness of the staff to accommodate legitimate guest complaints. Final Verdict While the location has its merits, the persistent noise from the tram line running every few minutes makes for an exhausting and unpleasant stay. Combined with unresponsive management and below-average comfort, I would not return to this property and would caution others — particularly light sleepers and couples — to consider alternative accommodations in the area.
