    Great all round option. Central means this is not a ‘view’ hotel. Accommodating means we could book three adults (family) and while the single bed was generous, the double bed was not! It’s clean, relatively new and helpful staff. Large reception area to lounge.

    Great stay and comfortable room. The lady behind the bar late Saturday could do with a customer service course. Beware of the station car park. Paying for a day runs out at 4am and you then need to pay again.

    Lovely hotel, centrally located within walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. Very good customer service and the breakfast was good.

    The best part of this hotel is its location. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the station. However, the staff were not the friendliest. They changed my room type without explaining anything to me during check-in. When I spoke to the staff member (I forgot her name), she was somehow gaslighting me and said, “Your room was upgraded. We don’t have any rooms available of the type you booked.” I was like, how is that possible? If there were no rooms available, then why did you accept my booking in the first place? Also, the soap dispenser in my room was empty, so I called the receptionist to ask for more. It took forever for them to answer the call, and the staff member came to my room very late—almost 2–3 hours later. Breakfast was good and had many options, but the vegan sausage was not it.
