    If you plan to base in Naples and travel around using the Central Station daily, this is a very good location, 5 minutes walk from the Central Station and Garibaldi. However, as in most central station areas, the area of the hotel is extremely dirty and noisy - definitely not the most pleasant place to stay in the city. If on the other hand you plan to spend most time in Naples, or travel around using mostly the ferries (vs. train), then you might find staying close to the Beverello port, i.e. somewhere around the Municipo or Dante metro stations much more rewarding for cleanliness, better sites and less unpleasant noise. As to the Ibis Styles itself - it was a very good experience for a budge hotel - very clean, friendly and helpful staff, a beautiful terrace for breakfast, guests are mainly couples.

    I had only one night stay. I used the facility as hub to travel to Pompeii. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station. Lots of restaurants within the walking distance. The room was clean and neat. Front staff very helpful. €5 to ride Alibus to and from the airport.

    This was a basic hotel hidden in the neighbourhood near the train station. Room was clean but note that the 3 single beds was actually 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed (I had the impression this was 3 standard beds). Complimentary water was only provided on the 1st day, otherwise had to get from supermarket nearby or pay 3 euros for a bottle on site. Location was near the train station but otherwise relatively far from the city center. Might consider paying more to stay near the city center in future for a better room also given how unpredictable the transport system is in naples. But overall no major complaints while staying there.
