    Agoda had already charged me for the taxes (item shown in the booking confirmation) but the hotel charged me the same amount 55.xx euros again upon arrival as the receipt from Agoda did not mention the taxes already paid. We were in the room one day when the cleaner came. I told her no cleaning required but to change the towels as there was no proper place to hang 4 of them. She was very upset about the change.

    Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I was given breakfast and the buffet had a lot of variety and some tasty options. (Does it count when your bread is automatically just better?) I would day that the hotel is kind of juicing its star rating though. There are touches that make it not a 4 star. A high class 3 no doubt but not a 4. I don't want to go into it because I do like the place. But know that you are on Las Ramblas. While there was construction when we stayed, I hear it can get noisy. It's not any more noisy that any other hotel but others are sensitive.

    The rooms basicly has "window" to inner lobby, the floor outside the room in not finished, the air condition is average. The location is excellent with great walkability to shopping in the area. The room was quite clean but felt like smooky.
