Hotel Panda

Location was excellent as it was just a few blocks away from the Spanish Steps and metro. Included breakfast was great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Hotel Panda for 4 days and 3 nights during our visit to Rome, and the highlight of this hotel is definitely its location. Situated right in the city center, many of Rome’s iconic landmarks; Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, as well as shopping streets and restaurants are all within walking distance. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The hotel is located on the third floor of the building. During our stay, the lift was unfortunately out of service, so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs, something to consider if you're bringing large or heavy bags. Check-in was fast and efficient. Just a reminder that, like many places in Italy, there is a city tax charged separately at check-in, which is not included in the initial booking price. And they only accept cash, so be prepared. We booked a triple room with a mezzanine layout; one double bed downstairs and a single bed upstairs. The room was compact but cozy and warm, with a window overlooking the street. Both the room and the bathroom were clean and well-maintained. However, the shower space is quite small, which might be a concern if you're claustrophobic. The room is equipped with essentials like air conditioning, a TV, hairdryer, and more. A simple self-serve breakfast is available, offering croissants, cereal, milk, juice, and coffee in a small but functional dining area. What we appreciated the most was the unbeatable walkability. Everything we needed, from metro stations, restaurants, and gelato shops to souvenir stores and a nearby Carrefour supermarket was just steps away. Overall, Hotel Panda is a great choice if you’re looking for a well-located, clean, and convenient base for exploring Rome on foot.

This is a honest review from a customer who is writing this review while still staying at the hotel. We are here from the United States. We will be in the hotel for another 2 more days before we check out to travel to Venice. The stay here has been the best so far. I am here with my family - wife and 2 older kids. We have been surprised and stunned by the hospitality of the manager and the supervisor, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the proximity of the location, the vibe of the street, and everything! There is not even 1 single thing that we are not satisfied about, with the stay. Rest assured, another visit to Italy, we will definitely stay here for sure. This is the best place for family stay in Rome.
