    Hotel Muli was a great stay for the Reykjavik leg of our trip. It's location is a bit out of town (10min drive), but convenient if you have a car. You can also easily take a bus into town if you didn't want to pay for parking in the tourist areas. The parking around Hotel Muli is free. The breakfast was the absolute highlight. There was lots of variety and the food was top notch. Sonia who runs the dining room is FANTASTIC and always greeted us with a friendly chat each morning. The hotel is quiet and clean, the rooms are spacious. We did have an issue with our bathroom light which refused to turn off. And normally that wouldn't be much of a problem except the bathroom doors were glass, so, it was 2 nights of a very bright sleep. Unfortunately, the hotel is not staffed 24/7 and it was difficult to catch someone to report it early enough because we'd often leave before reception started and return after reception ended. They did offer us a different room late on our second night of stay, but, it was too late anyway. Would stay there again if their room light buttons worked properly.

    If you're planning a trip to Iceland, Hotel Muli comes highly recommended. The staff are genuinely wonderful and accommodating, with the receptionists especially eager to assist with your needs. Breakfast at the hotel is delightful, featuring unlimited coffee and tea available in the lounge for a relaxing start to your day. Luckily, there are many excellent restaurants nearby to explore. Since we visited during summer, the weather was perfect for leisurely walks. We mainly strolled to the malls and the iconic Hallgrimskirkja in Reykjavik. Overall, we had an amazing stay at Hotel Muli and created unforgettable memories.
