Hotel Metro is a small boutique hotel located in the heart of Downtown London. It is right across the street from the Covent Market. While the central location in London is fantastic, Downtown London itself is not a place that we were comfortable walking around after dark. The downtown core has serious issues with homelessness and drug use.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The bathroom was clean and had a rain head shower only. The bathroom could benefit from an extra night light as the room was pitch black at night.
Our Queen Suite was spacious. The windows opened onto an internal atrium. This likely contributed to the quiet.
Parking was an extra fee located in the underground Covent Market parking garage across the street.

The location of this hotel is excellent and makes it a convenient choice for exploring London. The electronic key system is a great modern feature that makes check-in and room access easy.
A couple of things to be aware of: there is no door or curtain separating the shower/bathtub area from the bedroom, which may feel unusual and offers limited privacy. The toilet itself is in a separate enclosed washroom with a door, which helps. Also, parking is not included in the room rate and costs $29.38 per day including taxes.
Overall, the hotel offers a fantastic location and convenient technology, but the bathroom layout and additional parking fees may not suit everyone's preferences.

During a 3 night stay, I woke up on day 2 with bites on my back side. Not knowing what they were, I assumed spider bites.
The next day after speaking to a family member and showing them the photos, they told me they were 100% bedbugs.
I left immediately and the hotel denied it.
Still have the photos and Im traumatized each time I see them
