    The location is perfect. The hotel is between the Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square with plenty of restaurants and other shops nearby. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is spotlessly clean but dated. It is not a boutique hotel. The rooms in the hotel are very small, but adequate. Our view from the window in room 250 was a brick wall. It was very dark in the daytime and on the second floor. The breakfast is good. The breakfast plates for breakfast are too small in my opinion. You cannot fit scrambled egg on toast on them. There is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. There is complimentary tea and coffee available but unfortunately I had to carry it up 2 floors with a bad leg as there is no lift. There is an artisan gelato shop next door to the hotel and there is always a long queue outside of the hotel. The gelato is lovely. We had it each evening after the queue had gone down, which was approximately 10pm. I would recommend to others for the location. You would need to walk to the hotel from the Rialto Bridge or St Marks Square with your luggage. We would definitely stay there again.

    Surprised that they allowed check-in early at 11am when the room is ready. Good breakfast full of nice pastry. Helpful reception. I will stay here next time. Recommend!
