    This is my third time staying at Hotel Cham Cham Taipei, and I still love its convenient location! Getting here from Taoyuan Airport is super easy, and there’s no need to transfer to the Taipei MRT. The hotel is also close to public transportation, making it easy to explore Taipei and nearby areas. Definitely a great choice for anyone visiting Taipei. Would happily stay here again!

    We arrived late morning and dropped our luggage at the front desk. We asked about early checkin and one of the front desk ladies, told us to come back at 2:30p. We had lunch and came back to inquire. Another front desk lady said NO and we would have to pay for an early check in. Seriously for a 30 min charge. We were waiting and I had a conversation with another hotel guest, as she approached the desk looking to check in early too. To my amazement, they offered her an early checkin and let me know that. It was a matter of 5 min, when I first asked. I mentioned this to the attending front desk clerk and her shift sup, said go ahead. I just don’t understand the logic of inconvenient guest for 1/2 hour, when rooms are ready for guests. We got to our room on the 12th floor and were impressed with the view and accommodations. The layout of the rooms was exceptional and thought out. Toilet and shower are separated, which is ultra convenient and awesome !! Kingside bed was great with bed switches to turn off the room lights. We were able to book and take a good tour Thurs, before the impact of Typhoon Champi !! Everything was closed for Fri and part of Sat. The location is Great and several Malls close by, one across the street and Mega City 2 blocks away. You can actually walk underground to access Banqiao Station Sqare and Mega City mall to avoid rain and traffic 👌 Unfortunately, there is no fitness or gym facilities here. It piggy backs Ceasar Park/Hilton hotel, which caters room service for Hotel Cham Cham. After our initial interaction with front desk about early check in, I would recommend this Hotel in Taipei. Given the biggest Typhoon hit Taipei, we enjoyed our stay and will need to come back to enjoy more of Taipei !!

    The room was clean and spacious. The staff at the reception couldn't be bothered about the checking people in and sent everyone to the kiosks. Not a big deal but after a long flight it would be easier to deal with a human. It's a bit far out for a city visit but the metro is about 10 mins away. It was a good deal for the price but if you're in Taipei on holiday you might be better off with something closer to the center.

    I stayed at the hotel a few times but last stay was the worse of all. I think I will reconsider other hotels in the future. My first stay with the hotel, I smelled head oil smell on the pillow and requested a new pillow to replace. The trip went on ok, nothing much happened after. The next 2 stays are also just ok, nothing specific to remember. Then the 4th stay was the worse. Issues with cleanliness, some kind of rash or bug bites found. Congestion at the elevator and being requested to use cargo lift. The cargo lift area is dark and uncomfortable but we need to walk through to get to the rooms. After giving feedback, the hotel only apologize and say that this is not the usual standards they have etc. It just feel like an AI writen reply
