    We have enjoyed our stay in Hotel Canton Barcelona - very close to the centre - clean and staff very nice - would certainly use this hotel in future visits to barcelona

    It’s was hot AC was good , rooms large and clean and I had a balcony , bakery on corner of street for coffee and a croissant and super market around corner . Nice little square also at Rial 5 mins . I walked home 2am most nights and turned off rambla at rambla central.. no issues in terms of safety , but I didn’t show watches and walk with phones on display , a little edgy in feeling as a single male but no dramas , just keep ur eyes open . Good spot to walk from and get train from Liceu metro using 11 euro day pass . Walk from Placa de Catalunya straight sown rambla with cases and bags the easiest… airport bus is a breeze .. enjoy

    I booked the hotel canton for 2 nights to celebrate my daughter’s birthday in Barcelona. The location of the hotel is fantastic in the gothic quarter , a two minute walk to the main road next to the harbour, on the side of las ramblas and in the gothic quarter. It is a 2 minute walk in the other direction to Plaça Reial . The room was immaculately clean with clean towels provided , a fridge in the room and coffee and tea. Would definitely stay this should be rated higher than a one star. Would highly recommend

    Altough I made a reservation taxes and fees included through Agoda, Hotel Canton requested extra city-torist tax to check-in. They did not give the room until I paid the city tax. The area was also sketchy at night. The room was small, and the walls were thin, you can hear every flush from the next rooms toilet. The used glasses and coffee cups which are hotel property were not washed. At all I do not recommed, you can d find better hotels at this price level. Also I would like to say some words about Agoda. All I can reach at Agoda when I had this tax problem is, AI Agent which did not solve my problem
