    Granbell hotel Tenuki is an excellent choice for people who's looking for walking-distance activities near Sapporo station. Great value for the price. My preference are softer beds but if this is not a deal-breaker for you, then you should stay here.

    This hotel provided excellent service and support throughout our stay. They also kindly allowed us to store our luggage overnight free of charge, which was extremely helpful. We were able to travel with just our backpacks to Jozankei Onsen for one night before returning to check in. The room was very clean and comfortable. As expected with Japanese hotel standards, the room was compact, but it was perfectly adequate for two people. The hotel is located at Tanukikoji 8-chome, at the end of the covered shopping arcade, which makes it very convenient for dining and shopping. We really enjoyed the location. The public baths on the top floor were very clean, and the open-air bath was a wonderful bonus. We didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked because we had just come back from a hot spring resort in Jozankei. However, if you are staying in Sapporo without visiting an onsen hotel, the rooftop bath would be a wonderful way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and especially appreciated the hotel's kindness, convenient location, cleanliness, and excellent service.

    The hotel is at a great location... 8 minutes walk from the subway station. It is clean. Staff is highly professional. I have only opinion that if they have any vacant room, they can afford to provide early check-in without any extra charge. This is something which the hotel needs to improve.

    I stayed here for three nights out of six in Sapporo but this was thee worst there considering I barely got to eat at breakfast coz they don’t accommodate the vegan request so I had to manage with fried vegetables and rice and two fruits. The first day when I missed my breakfast I went to the cafe for lunch and even though communication was difficult but the staff managed to explain my need and they prepared a mix vegetables stir fry style which was very helpful but then next morning at breakfast the staff refused to tell the ingredients of a dish saying it’s 9.40 cafe is closed so she will not answer my question. The most rude response and discrimination too because after me there was a Japanese guest who came and was allowed to take food in their room. So I won’t recommend this hotel at all.
