    Terrible location to be honest if you are with children there’s a steep incline to go to hagia sophia/other places. No food places nearby. Breakfast is okayish, food at the restaurant is v good but overall the hotel could be much better in this price tbh

    I would highly recommend this lovely place. 1. Walking distance to the shuttle bus place 2. Walking distance to historic places 3. We have sea view room. We spent a lot of time sitting on the balcony. 4. Very friendly staff, you will feel like homestay. 5. Clean, quiet and spacious room 6. Cozy lounge, you can have a cup of coffee after your arrival. 7. Breakfast is delicious. All in all, we love this place and will definitely choose it whenever coming back. BR LM

    We got a good last minute deal through Agoda, and if that were not the case, we would have been paying too much for the room we were given - a Triple Room that was too cramped for my husband, our 7 year old and myself, for 4 nights in Istanbul. The breakfast was exactly the same each day and after day 2 we had no desire to eat it. There are olives, cheese, cucumbers, Turkish çay and coffee, but I would not classify this a typical Turkish Kahvalti, so just be aware what you'll be getting. However, Staff are always nice and smiling, so shout out to them. We had dinner one night at the Restaurant, which was fair, nothing to write home about. Are there better options in Istanbul's old city? Probably, but this being Istanbul, for the price we paid, we got what we paid for I guess. My annoyance stems from the fact that the room was advertises as much bigger (in sqm) than it actually was. As a family I would not stay in this room again. After te second night our bathroom started smelling, and the exposed pipes above the cupboard meant we heard gushing water from other bathrooms all night long. The lighting is also very unpleasant. Bright bulbs and one had yellow, other white. We probably got one of the worse rooms. The double next door (we were in Room 121) looked ok. Istanbul old tow especially is one big tourist trap, so Google ratings, which we checked before booking, mean nothing in general.
