    İ have stayed a few times in Akka and İ really gladly come again. Breakfast is excellent with a various options for everyone. Food is fresh and staff is pleasant and kind. İ love everyone. Location can not be better :) İstiklal is my street. Room was quiet, cleaning fantastic. İ always feel there like İ am home :)❤️

    The only downside was the check-in experience. We were unexpectedly asked for a cash security deposit, which had not been communicated in advance. As we did not have the full amount in cash, we spent around 20 minutes going back and forth with the receptionist, who insisted that we go to an ATM immediately despite us being tired after the flight. No consideration at all even those we were in contact with hotel before and nothing was mentioned. Thankfully, another manager was more understanding and helped resolve the situation. Aside from this incident, the rest of the staff were very kind, the rooms were clean, and we had no other issues during our stay. Highly recommend

    I would recommend people who aren't fussy to stay here. Not because they are lacking in anything but the room is basic and clean. It's like 30s away from bars within the alleys and a tarot coffee shop if you're into tarot readings. Down side is your transport would likely drop you at the back alley which is a 1 min uphill to your hotel but so doable so just bear that in mind. Best part is your just 2 alleys away to the main street of istikhlal so that's a win! Shopping is just so much easier with this. There are short cuts to the Galata area without going down and up the hills if you google enough u'd find out. Breakfast was available but the spread is kinda minimal but sufficient to start your day (slightly pricier than I would like but it'll do) So these are the reason you should stay and experience a mix of quiet and busy life in streets of Istikhlal. Go For it.

    I wouldn’t say this hotel is worth the money. The only real positives are the central location and a relatively decent breakfast. The rooms are quite dark and not very inviting. Also, there is a $100 deposit required upon check-in, which was not mentioned anywhere in advance Some details feel inconsistent: for example, the room includes cotton swabs and a shoe brush, but a basic dental kit costs €2 for a toothbrush and a tiny toothpaste, which feels unreasonable for this price level. There is a sauna and a hammam, but they are very small — if there are other guests, it quickly becomes uncomfortable. Overall, I would rate this hotel 3/5.
